These Julie scenes would play better if Nick hadn't received sentencing leniency when he committed murder himself. I wish somebody would at least mention that.
I'm hoping somebody will. Scenes like this work so much better when the hypocrisy is pointed out.
Ha! Rafe just said it.
And subtly said Nick was a despicable man, too.
Rafe's kinda been likable this week. I loved that shade he dumped in a subtle way on Nick. Nick was a despicable man imho, Rafe!

He could have been a little shadier towards Elvis, but then he would be called douchey, so I guess he can't win.

How the hell am I supposed to take Will seriously when he's dressed like that?!
It kinda looks like something Doug would wear.

Kate has definitely told Sami about Jordan.
Ya think? I'm not so sure about that, but only because I think between the murder cover up/Gabi situation and whatever they're plotting and planning, that there's not room for the drivel that is Jordan.

Victor dropping by WilSon's apartment to praise Will and talk about how hard it will be for them to raise Ari...I hope that was a huge anvil I heard dropping there...

It's like they're afraid for him to have any fashion sense because it would be "stereotypically gay" and they work so hard to keep Wilson away from being "stereotypically gay" that they are just plain dull. Definitely a problem for whomever is in charge of Wilson & their story arcs, not the actors. I think if they weren't so afraid to cross that line once in a while, Wilson would have more depth.

Wolfman!

No, too much hair grease. Middle-aged Eddie Munster with a blinking tic. They should just stencil "Sleaze" on Elvis's forehead.

Will looks like every over-stereotyped dork in nerd movies. Why? Sonny often wears atrocious shirt, but he also often looks, like today, good.

Ari looked fabulous in that dress and, damn, her spontaneous laughter when someone (Gabi, I think) said something about telling the truth made me laugh, too. Those babies are so attentive. It was wonderful when Gabi's on the last speech to her, and she laid her little head back to look at CB for the duration. Nice to see two actors get through an entire scene without using their prompters at all.

Kate and Sami--some contrived thing, I agree.

Sonny's tears!

Doug Williams! He's Hope's dad and Julie's husband.

I'm going with that not being tongue-in-cheek, so I'll answer it. Doug is Julie's husband, played by SSH's real husband, the wonderful Bill Hayes, who recently turned 89.

Kate is just trying to cause trouble as far as I'm concerned. It's none of her business that Jordan has multiple names.

I'd actually like for Victor to go after Theresa, but have Kim back in town to go up against Victor in Theresa's defense
I actually think if Kim knew the crap that Teresa was still into, she'd let Victor tear her a new one and step aside.
I feel like this would be a situation of "I can tell my kid like it is and maybe if I liked you more, I'd be willing to let tell my kid like it is, but given our history, you have no room to talk to my daughter."

Like they said, Julie's husband and Hope's dad. Here's the bigger history/background on his character:

Doug Williams

Yeah well, that's true. . . maybe it was/is wishful thinking on my part. I'm tired of Teresa's boring, druggie, bad influence character.

I can't see Kim ever having such a polite talk with Victor. The last time she and Victor were in the same room, after Shawn's death, she made it clear that she still despises him.

For clarification, Kim slept with Victor in Miami. At the time, Victor was holding her captive and was going to force her to leave the country with him. Shane, an ISA agent, was trying to get information on Victor and got locked in a room in Victor's mansion. Victor planned to kill Shane when the room unlocked, so Kim slept with him to give Shane a chance to escape. Later, among other things Victor did to make Kim's and Shane's lives hell, Victor had Kim's past as a prostitute published in the Salem newspapers to try to force her to give up custody of Andrew. That was something Kim had only revealed to Bo and Marlena (and something Shane had discovered).

Wow, Victor sounds like he was a far worst person than Nick. Why aren't other characters walking around dissing him like they do Theresa or Nicole?
