Ben and Abigail in the park. They eat ice cream and sit on a bench. Ben asks what it was like living in London? Ben has never been outside the US and its on his bucket list. He wants to know what her favorite things about it. She says going the theatre. She and Jack would go to the Tate Modern and the V&A (and Jack had awesome taste). She says her dad taught her about art, literature and Shakespeare. They talk about Jack's book. And she says Jack's book might become a movie. Jennifer is giving the proceeds to a Veteran's organization.

She realizes she knows nothing about his family and says tell me about yourself. He sighs. (Nice scene all around)

Sami reminds Marlena of what Nick did to Will and Arianna. Marlena plays Nick's call to Marlena. She says Nick needed help and never had the chance. Sami says he had plenty of chances and change was't going to happen. Sami: "I'm glad that monster is dead for good this time."
Remind me to dance on your grave,Sami

EJ asks Sami how Caroline is taking the Gabi news. Caroline is upset.

Sonny tells Will about the legal agreement, and Sonny says he would have told Will if he was going to be hurt by it. Sonny apologizes, but Will understands that Sonny couldn't betray Chad and his father. Will: I always knew there was something you didn't like about Gabi. Will realizes that Gabi was probably being blackmailed by Nick...Sonny says that Gabi felt terrible about the incident. (And Wilson has 1000x more maturity and compassion for each other than Dannifer. )

Rafe explains the Melanie/Gabi/Andrew thing to St. Daniel, mentioning how close Dan and Rafe were at that time.

Marlena asks Hope how she is. Hope says she let Nick down. Marlena says when tragedy strikes we all think of what we could have done differently. One little thing. She says that kind of thinking is counter productive unless it helps you do better in the future. She says people without regrets are worrisome.

Cut to Ejami arguing about Kate marrying Stefano.

Ben says his family is boring. He asks her about Ireland, South Africa...London, which was her favorite. She says London because it was the last time her family was together. She realizes he's been distracting her. He says he really wanted to know about her.

They talk about Nick and Gabi and their bad choices. Abigail is actually pretty compassionate, and Ben says you won't make bad decisions. She flashes back to Ejabby sex. "What if I already have."

Rafe tells the story. Dan is incensed that Melanie never told him. Rafe: Melanie never forgave my sister for what she had done. Dan: Of course not.

Dan thanks Rafe and says he must have been shocked. Then Rafe admits that he knew all along and encouraged Gabi's silence. And Dan is SHOCKED. (Rafe has betrayed the Daniel-God's goodness. He will be punished.)

I'm home sick and wanted to add something about the episode where Dannifer literally argue over how Jennifer told Eric "the truth"....one, is there ANYONE on the planet that found that A-story worthy and dramatic at all? I suppose all I'd have to do is look at the comments from the nuts on Facebook but really it was the silliest argument I've ever heard. Nobody would ever be hurt or argue over such a thing. The dialogue and acting was even worse than the scenario. There was no scenario...just contrived idiocy! Ya know if Dannifer would mind their own business and shut the fuck up, they wouldn't have these non "issues". God!

The pic that began this thread....I loved Grandpa Shawn!! I was actually surprised when he was killed off but thought it was interesting. Miss him alot. For some reason I don't remember if I was payig attention to behind the scenes stuff around that time. Was that just a story choice or was the actor wishing to leave? Anyone know if he's just retired or what he's up to now?

Ben is correct, his family IS boring. The only saving grace in that entire story is Chrishell is a sweetheart, nuBen is sexy as a mofo and there's a secret that will be revealed sometime in 2029. But my God it's been forever and Days really better come up with the greatest secret ever in television history because thus far it has "disappointing" written all over it.

Wilson on the couch. Sonny keeps expecting Gabi to come home and they talk about various things they will miss about Gabi. She kept Sonny updated about the Kardashians and watched Mystery Science Theatre with him in the middle of the night while feeding Ari. Will says he will watch Mystery Science Theatre with Sonny and Sonny will make the brownies that Gabi used to make. They are sad but they kiss.

Dan is INCENSED. Quietly, breathily ashamed at Rafe. He is a cop and Melanie had to deal with this all on her own thanks to Rafe. Rafe is deeply ashamed at betraying the Daniel God. The Daniel God must speaks to Melanie and Rafe slinks away in shame.

As much as I hate Dr. Douche..he has a right to be pissed at Rafe. More than pissed, he should have knocked his ass out.

I loved him too.

Just found this if it helps:

"Parker is best known as Grandpa Shawn Brady on Days of Our Lives. He had portrayed the character on and off since 1983. Grandpa Shawn died in February 2008 after giving up his oxygen mask to save his son, Bo, on a sabotaged airplane that was going down. He subsequently retired from acting for health reasons on March 2008. He also had some small roles in Never Too Young, The Young and the Restless and General Hospital."

Ben: You haven't murdered anyone have you? Abigail: "No but I've made my share of mistakes. Ben says then he can't hang out with her because he's never made any mistakes ever and is perfect. They laugh and share a long, deep kiss. (Which is kinda hot)

Like Rafe could've fixed anything. Plus Melanie is alive and well (unfortunately), so what's the problem? Daniel acts like a pouty little girl. He didn't get to tell a biggie wiggy secret to his bestie best best Ewic and Jennie Jen didn't think he was a good boy (after she called him great nice wonderful and amazing IN ONE SENTENCE!!!!) and now he finds out his wittle baby is alive and well but could've had some bad boo boos so now he's vewy vewy mad! Waaaaa. At this point I hope Eve sits on his face for three weeks straight just so he will shut the fuck up!
