That might make him exactly her type. Not that it'll happen. |

I THOUGHT he looked familiar! I loved the original North and South movie. By the time it got to Book 3, the movie wasn't nearly as good as the book. Although it was awkward, since people who died in the book didn't die in the movie, or vice versa. Loved George and was so sad when Constance died......... |

MONDAY 6/30 SNEAK PEEK CONFIRMS NEW CHARACTER'S NAME... In the sneak peek for 6/30 it states this: Kate is shocked to learn of Clyde and Jordan's connection. Sometimes character names will be changed from what they are called in casting calls, but in this case, they stuck with Clyde. As a reminder, here's the casting call for Clyde, the contract role that James Read will debut in next week: Clyde is a "Winter's Bone meets Duck Dynasty" type - a Kris Kristofferson...Nick Nolte Type. He's a serious man from the Ozarks who can charm almost anyone, particularly those who have no idea how lethal he can be. People who know him are scared of him. He is a man who may be without a conscience and who doesn't care about others and his affect on them. He takes what he wants. When cleaned up, he is very handsome. |

Why am I not surprised that the guy is supposed to debut next week is Clyde? Anyways, I am so glad the ball on Jordan's storyline is finally rolling. And the guy sounds like a straight up sociopath. |

I just hope this means he'll get to be a real villain. This show needs that so desperately. |

I think this show might also need some antiheroes. As far as I know, Days doesn't have that many antiheroes on canvas, unless you count Sami as one, but I'm not entirely sure. |

So Clyde is a contract role. Well the show is going to need another bad guy and James Read is a good actor. For the first time I'm getting curious about Jordan's story. |

Me too. And now if you'll beg my pardon, I'm going to excuse myself and go look outdoors because I expect to see the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, since thinking Jordan's storyline is interesting is surely one of the signs of the End Times. |

Yeah I never thought I'd find Jordan interesting either. If she's also Paige's cousin Joan then I have to give the writers credit. I want to know what's going to happen next. I know James Read could have a short term contract. But I'm hoping it's more than that. We've got plenty of bad girls but we need more male villains. EJ is leaving, Stefano is quite old now, and Nick is dead. Clyde sounds like he could be a serious bad guy. |

I'm really excited for this addition. I've heard great things about this guy, and I agree, the show is in need of some male villains/antiheroes. And major kudos if he manages to make Jordan less snooze-worthy. |

I agree. Kayla needs some screen time. I still think there're missing the boat on Kayla/Adien. That one scene they shared generated more steam then I've ever saw between him and Hope. |

Yeah, I agree. I also think they should have stop with the original Godfather. After the original it just went down hill. ETA: I thought George/Madeline were SMOKING! LOL! |

I think it's more likely that this Clyde will be reformed and is not really a villain, and that it's more likely for the short-term Jeremiah to be the actual villain in the story. |
