Btw I seriously think Abigail is not going to play the total weak victim in this s/l we will see I would love to see Kate Mansi in punch back action.. :)
Um she knowingly slept with Sami's fiancé and you want her to punch back at Sami? I fail to see how Sami has done anything to deserve a punch from Abby or even a retort. Abby brought on the wrath of Sami, she's been talking about it since in the cabin & went back and ask for sex 3 additional times. She needs to pull on her big girl panties & take whatever Sami dishes out to her & then try to move on with her life.
Sami's fiancee knowingly slept with Abby. He's the one who deserves Sami's wrath since he's the one who betrayed her,not Abby.
It takes two to tango. Abby willingly slept with EJ. BOTH deserve blame. IMO.
Both deserve blame. EJ's actions are the bigger betrayal.

Oh Nicole..love how she let holier than thou Marlena have it!
I don't see how Marlena is being holier than thou about Nicole. She didn't say anything to Nicole that wasn't true. Marlena has apologized to Nicole for being suspicious of her and has stayed out of the way regarding Eric and Nicole since, giving them her blessing.

I respectfully strongly disagree. In my opinion Abigail feels very guilty. Why do you think she didn't feel like being her wedding planner because she felt guilty about sleeping and making out with EJ.
I know I'm on my own on this one but a 40 year old woman and a 60 year old woman ganging up to throw food at a 25 year old.... sounds a tad pathetic.

but totally in keeping with this regimes view of women.

I'm sorry but Sami is just dragging Kate down to her level of immaturity and it pisses me off. Kate used to be better than this.
I like Kate and Sami as a team, but I really hope that the show doesn't digress into cheap slut shaming. All these women plus Misogynist Victor tossing the words sl** and wh*** at each other makes me sad. Would they have Sonny and Will using gay slurs all the time? I'm also fine with Abigail getting a comeuppance and being held accountable, but it's Elvis who did the majority of wrong here. Luckily, it seems like Sami is after him, too.

I mean, Victor showed up today to give some exposition about Eve and remind/inform us all that she was a sl** or whatever word he used, so we will all be saddened St. Jen Jen might lose her precious St. Orange to him. Eve seems like she's got a shady plan with respect to Jack's book, but she seemed only to get interested in Daniel when she found out he was single. So, what's the problem? Why would the writers dredge up a promiscuous past? Oh, yeah, so we won't favor her over Jen-Jen. These are grown women, both with multiple marriages and relationships under their belts.

When Nick called Sonny the "f" word, it was treated as a huge deal. When people call women slurs, regardless of their sexual behavior, it's just another day on Days and we are supposed to cheer.
I think Abigail played a role in it too; this isn't the first time she has gone after older men. She went after Austin then she had sex with EJ. I'm not sure if she's cheated with other men because that's all I've seen but I really don't think Abigail is innocent in this. It takes two to tango. She enjoyed every minute of having sex with EJ and making out with him or she wouldn't have done it.

I don't really know anything about Eve so I cannot say anything about her.

But Abby's not engaged to Sami, he is. He's the one who needs his ass kicked to the curb. Blaming the other woman for a man cheating is a cop out used by women to justify their men's weakness IMO. Sami needed to drug guys to sleep with her, Abbigail had to do nothing for EJ to jump her bones.

Does anyone remember Victor interacting with Eve when she was last in Salem? From his comments you would think he knew her well but I don't remember that at all.
He was certainly in town whether or not he had direct interaction with her. And his hate for Shane could certainly be connected to his knowledge and snarking towards Eve.
I have a vague memory of her coming onto Victor once -- even kissing him -- as part of some plan or something, but I can't remember the details (anyone remember?). But I don't recall Vic having any particular grudge against Eve in the past. Still, he had his differences with Shane & Kim -- and currently with Theresa -- so I guess some of that spilled over to Eve.

Bye I made that statement because it's not fun for ME imo watching somebody be weak and shriving in a back corner..I couldn't stand Chloe last run on this show because of that all Jennifer did was whine and cry while Chloe bullied her.. BTW :whack:

What Abby did with Austin is no different than what Sami did when she drugged him to have sex, only Abby didn't have sex with him while Sami did and tried to pass off her child as his.Abby didn't set out to have sex with EJ, that is where this affair is completely different than what happened with Austin. EJ was the one in a committed relationship , it was up to him to walk away but instead he willingly betrayed his fiancée hoping she would never find out. Surprise jerk!

It erks me a little as an internet person people have been ruining the story by saying Sami knows and her and Kate are plotting together for it turn out to be true..So I didn't get the shock factor sorry..Good tv but sorry
I know what you mean but I only have myself to blame because I go to places that i know have major spoilers. I guess hanging out online is like a double edged sword, on one hand all the discussions increase the viewer experience exponentially as you become immersed in the characters, their history, backgrounds, motivations, wardrobe etc BUT on the other hand you always know ahead of time what might happen. If none of us were on DR, FB, Twitter etc, nick coming back, nick getting killed, gabi shooting nick, sami knowing about ejabby and kami working together would have given all of us heart attacks, we would still be in shock today
I'm sure that plenty of people would have still figured out all of those "twists" either way. In each case, there were hints -- either subtle or as subtle as a train wreck -- that pointed to the direction the stories were headed in. Nick "dies" but there's no body? Classic soap staple of a "back from the dead" story. Nick gets shot and dies -- for real this time? Plenty of people wanted him dead at that time and had been threatening to kill him. Gabi killed Nick? That was probably the one the writers would have had the best chance of surprising viewers with, but there were still obvious hints -- mainly the diaper bag. Sami knows about E.J. and Abby's fling and has been working with Kate to get back at them? There have been hints of that since May 21st.

Honestly, if they wanted to shock us, they shouldn't have spoiled that Rafe and Kate would sleep together again. I'm fairly certain that will be the most shocking thing that happened this week, in the end. I have no idea why they allowed Soap Opera Digest to spoil that -- if they hadn't, it would have taken us by surprise because there were no hints that anything like that was going to happen before the episode in which it did happen. I wouldn't have considered it a truly "earned" twist for that very fact -- as I talked about in another thread recently, "random events" don't count as true twists, in my book -- but still, it would have shocked us. It did shock us...when we read about it online days before it actually occurred.

I get that, but Jenn didn't get involved with a man that was currently engaged/married to Chloe so she had a leg to stand on in that situation. She should have defended herself. I just don't think Abby has that in this case and her whining about Sami at any given moment is getting on my nerves. Like mother, like daughter I guess. This whole storyline is destructive to all 3 of the involved characters so I just want to see it end yesterday.

I've got to say it was a tough day all around...I love Nicole but they are just destroying her too. That great eye acting thing AZ & GV have is not even doing it for me because it is all tortured & glaring, not wishful & longing.

At this stage I'm okay if Ericole are broken up for good. Nicole is wrong for not wanting to help Eric but I'm glad she's standing up for herself, which only means she's sinking deeper and deeper into the whole she's dug for herself. But I'm okay with it because I'd rather see this Nicole than wimpy, woe is me Nicole who has to crawl through broken glass begging for scraps.

I had no idea there were any elective vocal cord procedures aside from the ones people get to raise their pitch. Maybe Eve is counting on Dr Wonderful to mess up and sue for millions in malpractice?
There are plenty of different types of nodes/nodules that can develop in the throat of those that do a lot of talking/singing/etc. Not all need to be removed by surgery (as some may disappear on their own with rest of the vocal cords).

Note: I'm trying to remember this from memory. Therefore, the factual accuracy of what I wrote may be edited once I have a chance to consult my textbook.
Are you a fellow speechie? :D I just wasn't sure that a nodule surgery would be elective rather than medically necessary. That kind of stuff always confuses me!

A singer could always "elect" to stop singing instead of going under the knife, so it probably counts as elective surgery in many cases.

And since she ran to Stephano to get him to help her throw Nicole under the bus and he scared the shit out of her so much that she ran into John's arms, then treated him like crap. I think that maybe Eric got his judgmental attitude from his mother who by the way canceled all her patients who needed her today so she could go to her son's ex-fiances' home and continue belittling her, and as usual caused more damage than good. Her son needs to put his big boy pants on and realize that he made a BIG mistake. Yes, Nicole was wrong, wrong, wrong but Eric should get over his "orange crush" and handle his own situation. He knew exactly where to find his Mommy.

Can you imagine this show ever writing a scene with Stefano, EJ, and Rafe screaming and throwing cake at each other?

No? That's what I thought. Seriously, DAYS, I love you but you can fuck off sometimes.
