I just wanted to thank everyone who posted before this stupid press conference came on. My local NBC station airs Days at 12:30 pm Central time so I didn't get to see much at all. Grrrr!!!

Don't we have news channels for this? This isn't even news. If we had to have an interruption why couldn't have been during Fetch?

Yay it's over! The show just resumed here in time for the end of the cake fight. Sami tasting the frosting off EJ's shirt was priceless!!!

What the hell am I supposed to watch on Days in December? The scheming Sami (/Kami) which I love will be gone; John and Marlena -I predict- will be still out of character and therefore unwatchable; and Kristen will have abandoned the building by then as well. I'll have nothing left.. Haiden is the only glimmer of hope but it'll be only a matter of time until that story gets ruined, too, I'm afraid.
I'm sure Dannifer will still be going strong, forever and ever and ever and ever...
I think it's their break-ups that'll be going strong forever and ever.

Historically speaking, when a US president (from *any* political party) makes an announcement that he's preparing to send over 100 "military advisors" to a foreign country, that's basically a "spoiler" of a possible international plot development ...

This is something I want to know about right away because ... this affects real people in my life (regardless of political viewpoint).

Meanwhile the National Enquirer doesn't have any soap opera spoilers for the week of June 30th. I can wait to learn that.

I've waited 8 years to see the real Sami. I can wait a few more hours to see someone's clips of today's episode on youtube.

Just my opinion.

Oh no, I'll have to watch it online. How will I survive? Meanwhile civil war has broken out in Iraq and already many thousands have died.

Fear not, my Days-watching friends. Any missed cake attack will still be able to be GIFed for your entertainment pleasure. :)

Doesn't NBC usually repeat the episode the next day when more than half of it is pre-empted?

Yeah, I totally "get" that - I'm probably still pissed about the burning house pre-emption from LAST week. Our local affiliates are total clowns.

My issue is they've likely had this together for hours if not a day or more. Why not hold a press conference last night? Or this morning? Or say 12 or 12:30 when the news is generally on?

The media in my area are in a tizzy reporting a bear in a tree near the National Institute of Health. :blulaugh:

It was supposed to be at 12:30 but was delayed.
