Kelly Missal would have been ideal, but there are just too many LOLs to King having a trophie and Muhney having none.

DAYS and Y&R clearly bloc voted together (which may be a first, I don't know)....that much is obvious. Its interesting that Y&R appears to have bloc voted with their SONY sister show DAYS instead of their Bell/CBS sister show B&B.

GH clearly is up against a strong CBS/DAYS bloc and that will be even more evident next year when support from AMC/OLTL is totally gone, since they and their votes will not longer be around.

Also ED confirmed AGAIN on the red carpet that she is basically going to be doing BOTH shows, even though her new contract is with Y&R. Sony clearly has worked their magin to get Y&R/DAYS to agree to share her.

YAY for Eileen Davidson! So unbelievably excited for her! 2013 was definitely the year of Kristen DiMera and Eileen tore it UP onscreen! So happy to see her recognized for that. What a great way to kick off her next Days story arc.

Nice to see Eric Martsolf win as well! He's not the greatest actor on Days, but he does well with the important stuff, which I can appreciate. He was absolutely brilliant in his reel, and although Brady is one of my least favorite characters right now (his story is AWFUL), I'm hoping to see him change for the better when Kristen returns!

It's cool that Chandler Massey won his third consecutive Emmy, but OMG at them using the wrong clip! Just embarrassing.

Okay. Eileen got her Emmy. I'm 100% satisfied. But next year is Ari Zucker's turn. This girl DESERVES an Emmy, damn it! (Although the writing for Nicole these past few months has been less than stellar...)

Sharongate, bitches!

Eileen was the only winner that had 3 show casts standing up for her as she won (DAYS of course, and Y&R and B&B).

so they posted Heather Tom's Red Carpet Interview, and you'll notice it's rather...."short". It appears the producers must have found most of the "interview" crude and offensive as well since they cut it all out,

The Beverly Hilton Ballroom is GOOD luck for DAYS...they have won more awards in that ballroom than all the other venues combined.

I did not watch the red carpet and I see that was the best decision I made this weekend. But from what I've read, NATAS should apologize.

I'm so happy for Eileen and Eric! Eric, especially, has come a long way, had the best year of his career and gave such a humble Emmy speech.

I know people are upset because Jane Elliot and Elizabeth Hendrickson didn't win, but Amelia Heinle had a good reel, too, so I can live with her winning.

I've already made my opinion about Chandler Massey known. With that said, the reel switcheroo was embarrasing, insulting, hilarious and confusing all at once.

You know what I really missed, though? The voice-over lady who gives stats like, "This is XYs nth win in x nominations." I like to hear those stats, especially when they're monumental. For example, it would have been nice to hear that this is Eileen's first win in multiple nominations (FINALLY!) or that Eric is Days' first ever winner in his category or that Chandler is now the actor with most Emmys from Days.
