BTW does anyone know which episodes were submitted for the category "Writing for Drama series"?
They submitted the same episode that won them the WGA award...the 1st Kristen/Marlena showdown/Nick rape reveal episode.
Thanks. That was my guess. Y&R?
I'm not sure...probably something surrounding Delia's death...I would assume or maybe the Jeanne Cooper tribute episode.

MAN that was such a great episode! It had everything a good soap should have, really. Pure soap gold.

Not sure, but I think Y&R submitted the episode of Delia dying for writing.

I agree - I was FLOORED that they lost...especially considering Writing is based on SCRIPT.

That script was flawless.

Yeah, they submit one episode (or two - for half hour programs) and a copy of the script for the episode being submitted.

To be honest I expected Y&R to win "Drama Series" because they had two really impressive episodes but I kinda expected "Days" to win for Writing.
However, I don't see any reason for JFP or CBS to be especially happy for all those awards they got, because most important people who really contributed to the success are no longer there (I mean, Griffith and Miller).
