I wonder if it's Corday pushing Daniel? I saw it listed on Wikipedia that KC is credited with creating Doctor God. Of course that doesn't mean it's true but these writers have all been better in the past.
Corday is credited with a lot of things he has nothing to do with.
And I fail to figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing. When he gets involved, things get stupid....when he doesn't appeared to be involved, things get awful. After many years with this show, I've never fully understood what he does and doesn't do. I do know, however, that he's a train wreck, albeit an entertaining one, when he does those "Plan To Save Days" cover stories.
Idk exactly either but he's not writing. We know who the writers are so idk why people insist blaming Corday for those things.

I know the writers suck. The focus on Daniel isn't the only problem but it is a big one and I wondered if Corday was pushing Tomsell to spotlight the orange one. It would take too long to list all the things that these writers are doing wrong.

Idk, but I doubt it. We haven't really heard him say much about Daniel, have we? He used to talk about loving Galen, though.

2013 - 565,000
2014 - 595,000

And that's why we haven't heard anything about changes yet.
How about the average since end of February sweeps? Seems like numbers were really inflated for the first two months of the year for all soaps because of the polar vortex, and have dropped significantly for the last five months or so. Maybe it's a stretch, but I'm still trying to find some hope for a regime change, LOL.
Here are the comparisons for the last few years from the time period you asked for.

March - July 2014 total average - 2,417,000
March - July 2013 total average - 2,482,000
March - July 2012 total average - 2,369,000
March - July 2011 total average - 2,355,000
And just for kicks....
March - July 2006 total average - 3,245,000

March - July 2014 key demo average - 566,000
March - July 2013 key demo average - 563,000
March - July 2012 key demo average - 501,000
March - July 2011 key demo average - 636,000
March - July 2006 key demo average - 1,224,000
Things are not as bad as some people want us to believe. Hopefully, they'll get worse.

And if you're curious, 2006 was the last time the show consistently got over 1,000,000 viewers in that demo. There are a handful of weeks in both 2007 (11 weeks) and 2008 (3 weeks) with over a million. Compare that to 2006 where every single week is over a million.

Not surprising. 2005 was the last good year of this show, until last year.
