News flash for you folks, MM has already shot a Christmas-themed movie, is finishing a second one up another called SEARCH ENGINES, and has signed on for a third one set in Las Vegas. I think he isn't having a hard time getting hired. The soap opera world is a fourth-rate acting platform at best, top talent moves on. The Steve Farren Burtons and Joshua Duh Morrows stick around.

I'm sure he's on his best behavior on screen. Raves and rah-rahs for his co-stars...
We'll see.

I wouldn't crow until we see if they're a hit or not.
Soap opera is fourth rate acting? But it was good enough for MM until he couldn't keep his hands to himself, right?

Would you be claiming this if MM were to reappear on another soap?

MM patting himself on the back, as usual.
These are his roles. I think they suit him perfectly. lol

I'll believe it when I see it. I'm sure he will win some kind of an award, in his own mind.
Are there awards for narcissism.

OK, so my screen name contains "Days" and my avatar is of Deidre Hall, I'm still well aware of everything going on in the soap world, and I have massive respect for Y&R. I watched it regularly until ATWT was cancelled, and on and off after that. I'll admit that I thought MM was talented. What he doesn't seem to get is his "talent" isn't enough and an actor can't be universally disliked by the rest of the cast and crew. No one is irreplaceable in this industry, and that goes for soaps, movies, prime-time, stage, and music.

These rabid MM fans may exist, but I have often thought they were phantoms that MM enlist to keep his name propped, or worse, a bored MM in desperate need of attention. I am sure he is bored now that he has been off daytime's top soap for a while. He strikes me as the type that would do anything for attention, and we have had those types blow in and out of Days in the past.

The fact is, he was an Emmy winning actor on daytime's top soap. Now he is just another ex soap star doing crap-fest movies. Y&R wasn't Michael's fourth tier, it was his top tier. It's obviously down hill from here and he knows it. He is simply hoping that if he makes enough noise, it will look like a win for him. Guess what, it's a big loss for him, and all the grandiose talk about obviously shitty roles cannot cover up that fact. He copped a feel, and ruined his name on a Bell soap.

Go and ask Brenda Dickson if there is life after being black-balled at Y&R. We see how it turned out for her after she ruined her career on this show. Michael: meet the female version of your future, Brenda Dickson. I'm a Days fan, and still it's obvious to me history is repeating itself. The difference, MM was a pervert. Brenda was a lazy drug addict. Past that: Same story, different millennium.

Sorry, just my take

Your take works for me. lol
Let's not forget to add Victoria Rowell to the blackballed list, she is just as delusional as Brenda and MM.
For his kids sakes, I hope he invested his money well, or it will be, "want fries with that?".

Thank you JCP.

This is the same guy who only wanted off if he had a prime time show. This is the same guy who used to complain to his fans if he wasn't shown on the show for week or so.

Actually, the top tier of his career was a regular role on Veronica Mars almost a decade ago. Y&R was a downgrade from that. There are rumors about him having been problematic on that show, too. I wasn't on that show, so I can't know it the rumors are true or not.

I think the opposite, Y&R was an upgrade, Veronica Mars never made it to a major network and only lasted 3 years.
