It's like death and taxes when DAYS tanks there is a decent amount of discussion and when DAYS has a good week crickets can be heard from time zones away. |

Ericole drew me in this particular week. The week before, they were pretty nonexistent, and I didn't watch at all. |

It's interesting that these numbers are now considered a good week - moving the bar. |

Considering Days was struggling to stay above 2M a few days the previous week, these numbers are great. |

I'd rather hear crickets than the continuous "Fire TomSell" rants. |

Nah. I'm usually the one that starts that and I've been gone for three weeks. ;) I think this might be a little preview of what's to come. The week is only good compared to last week, but compared to last year it's awful. I'm hoping that's what will get TomSell pushed out this winter. |

They are still down compared to last year at this time....but these numbers will certainly ensure TomSell is not going anywhere. :shame: :shame: :badmood:

Yep. And it seems like the show usually starts paying attention to ratings in September. Hopefully, the downward trend continues and the drop from last year at this same time starts to worry them. I'm ready for new writers. Edited by tomsawyer, Sep 16 2014, 10:52 AM.

If they expect to have new writers in place by the 50th, they need to hire them NOW....man I think we are running out of time... |

When did Days of Our Lives become the venerable fourth-rated soap? I thought it had a strong No. 3 spot when two ABC soaps went off the air. Then again, that was over three years ago so I guess a lot has happened. Was it General Hospital's 50th Anniversary specials which gave them the slight edge? |
