I wonder what happened to G.H.
I think the rating system has been over estimating ABC's Numbers so maybe these are more accurate?

Do we usually get double decimal places?

Interested to see if DAYS can gain 150,000+ for EJ's murder. The 2nd highest viewer day is encouraging with it being the Friday episode.

No this is the first time for that. Toups over at SON posted he is going to start with more detailed ratings.

As a friend of mine said, these numbers are rather embarrassing, being JS exit week!

There was an error that affected ratings from March to the beginning of this month, but it has since been dealt with. Therefore, the numbers you see here are most likely correct. The correct ratings for all broadcast shows (primetime and daytime) for the period mentioned above were released a few weeks ago, but the glitch had no major impact whatsoever; at best, a show's rating went up or down by 0.05, which is hardly significant.

Your friend is wrong next weeks ratings will reflect his exit, although those could also be disappointing.

General Hospital has been damned good over the past week.

Granted, I'm not a Nielsen home so I can't help them with the numbers. Hopefully the show will pick up.

This is exactly it...ABC had huge corrections all over the place last week. Apparently Nielsen said there has been errors going back all the way to March 2014. GH's year to date average will also take a huge hit.

I think that was an average change...some shows benefited much more than the 0.05 rating adjustment and some were not affected.

This big correction in GH's rating this week (1st week of problems fixed) and last week is very telling to me that GH certainly was one of the ABC shows benefiting from this ratings glitch that has went unnoticed from march 2014 to september 2014.

i don't know which week was the first one with the glitch, but GH went up over 400K viewers in the final week of March.

According to TVByTheNumbers.com, the error was caught by Nielsen finally on Oct 9 and was not corrected until after that point in time, so it is possible that these ratings are not yet reflecting the ratings correction.

Next week we may see a further drop for GH as the correction would be in place for all 5 days of ratings.

These double digits are harder to compare somehow. For instance, wouldn't the Monday episode have been a 2.0? It looked better that way.

Anyway, happy for the beginning of the week, as it was filled with MUST SEE Kristen / Bristen Drama!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
