Did anyone else see chemistry between Lauren and Joe? They'd be a hot couple. :)

I don't find Joe Clark attractive. He seems plastic Ken-doll in looks. He doesn't look like a real guy. And he's annoyingly smarmy.

He thinks he's hot. I find him icky.

He's slick, not real, looking for a game. He can leave anytime and I won't miss him. What man doesn't make Lauren squirm like a feline in heat.

Not related to anything in particular.
I'm just been thinking this for a while now:

I think it's cool that ...
instead of being Cassie's "evil twin" ...
Mariah is Cassie's "snarky twin".

I liked seeing the dog who visited Nick at his retreat cabin on Friday Nov 21 (usa) show ... and then learning Nick's cabin is apparently on the same estate as ... or next door to ... Constance Bingham -- where Adam is staying ... because ...
the dog wandered into Nick's cabin and then wandered out ... and then went into Constance's living room.

And we learn that the dog belonged to the real Gabriel Bingham.
And this dog growled when he met Adam-as-Fake-Gabriel.

What doesn't make sense to me: Adam has been staying at Constance's place for how many months? Yet this is Adam's first encounter with the dog? I guess Adam was in the hospital for a long time, and then maybe at a rehabilitation clinic? Maybe he's been at Constance's house for only a short while but Constance & Sage have been taking charge of his care since the accident?

Trivia note: I watched that episode with closed-captioning, and learned the name of the dog.

The dog's name is "Bugatti". Interesting name.

Bugatti is the name of an Italian car company. Racing cars and fancy trendy sports cars up to a million dollars each.
Bugatti is also the name of a new techno (electronic dance music) song.

Unusual name for a dog. Wonder why the real Gabriel named him that?

Due to Sage's ongoing management of the facts, Constance has been led to believe that her real grandson Gabriel nearly died in an unsuccessful attempt to rescue Adam Newman from the burning car. Constance has been led to believe that Adam died at the scene. Constance has been led to believe that the recovering man staying at her home is her grandson Gabriel.

In the Mon. Nov 24 USA episode, Constance says it makes sense that the dog wouldn't recognize Gabriel -- because he's gone through a huge experience and is different now on the *inside*.

I wonder what Constance meant by that?

** Speculation: ** Was Constance implying that maybe RealGabriel was not the type of person to risk his life to help someone? Is that why she says that ManSheThinksIsGabriel is a "changed man" inwardly? That his personality has undergone such a drastic change that *THAT* is why the dog didn't recognize him?
(end speculation).

Maybe Constance simply meant that *anyone* undergoing an ordeal like that would *have* to undergo changes in personality.

What do we know about the *real* Gabriel Bingham?

We learn in the Mon Nov 24th USA episode that RealGabriel once lived in Europe as an adult -- or at least in England.

------

Also, in that episode, Adam privately asks Sage why she's helping him. Adam knows Sage is trying to cheer up Constance but there must be more to it. Adam wants to know what's in it for Sage?

Sage replies: "By helping you reclaim your life, I'm also giving Gabriel a chance to live again, too."

(I have no idea what Sage meant by that).

Adam asks Sage to educate him about RealGabriel.

In reply, Sage tells Adam these things about RealGabriel:

"Being Gabriel Bingham is more than just having his face.

Gabriel was incredibly charming. It's not just an act.

Lots of men -- rich, powerful men -- they just like to talk about themselves."

Adam interrupts to say "except the angelic Gabriel?"

And Sage replies:

"No! Gabriel was no angel ! But he listened, especially to women, and they responded."

(The implication was that RealGabriel wasn't like other rich and powerful men. RealGabriel knew how to listen).

==========================

So apparently, the Real Gabriel Bingham
* lived in Europe for a while,
* was rich and powerful,
* named his dog after the most expensive auto in the world,
* wasn't an angel,
* was incredibly charming,
* BUT he didn't talk too much about himself
* He listened to women and they responded.

What an interesting persona for Adam Newman to take on!

Nana, I enjoy your dissection of the characters and the twists and turns. I'd love to watch the program together, heck, all of us here at DR! We'd have to have a rule though, nothing heavier than popcorn gets thrown!

I would love someone like the deceased (we think) Gabriel to be on the Y&R. Sounds interesting.

My guess? She is Gabriel's wife, and she wants to give Constance a grandchild before Constance dies. So, ya, that's my guess. Big inheritance at stake? Probably!

Lookswise, Adam will pull it off,charm wise he will struggle. You can't con a dog, it will get you bit. Funny thing is that there has been another rich family, handsome " jet setting" man that close to GC and never eased the name in

I loved that dog! I had a white dog like that, sweetest dog in the world.
Maybe Gabriel wanted a Bugatti so he named the dog Bugatti?

I don't think she's Gabriel's wife, but, maybe a sister or some relative, OR she is a paid companion/nurse to Constance who was in love with Gabriel and the love wasn't both ways?
If she was Gabriel's wife, I think she would be pretty distraught over his death and his new lookalike. :shrug:

I just want to go on record as saying, I HATE Summer's hair that color! She looks terrible and her hair is flat.
I hated it when they darkened MS's hair too.
This show has the worst hairdressers ever! Ashley must be the only one who goes to a private hairdresser.

At first I thought that Summer had died her hair red. But then I got a better view. From a distance it looks like reddish hair, but not up close.

Summer's hair is still blond but she now has pinkish and reddish streaks added.

On my tv it looks almost the color of Gina's.
Whatever she did, it's awful.

The writers don't know what to do with Summer's hair. Even when she was blond, I didn't like her hairstyle.

Summer has a beautiful face but bad hair. The solution is to pull her back or put it up and focus on her face.

I didn't care for her hair style, but the blonde suited her perfectly.
