According to Adam Mayfield, his character, Ted is "a good guy who's crushing on Serena. He's troubled and he has lost his way". He's excited to play a character such as this.

He talked about how hard the AMC cancellation was on him personally . He was happy to meet Daniel Cosgrove too.

So far, so good at Days. He's enjoying himself.

And by February sweeps or March, he'll be a psycho who takes several hostage before he's killed. Probably by heroic Daniel.

It seems odd that a recurring character gets an article like this...

Recurring.
He appears in the credits in the section for recurring characters.

Jason said the character of Ted is for a short arc.

I hope Ted doesn't end up nuts. I don't want another repeat of Liam.

Anyone on at least two episodes can technically be called recurring, but he's only on for another week or so. His storyline is done then.

There is no section of the show credits for recurring characters. There's the contract section of the credits, which end currently with Melissa Archer, and then there's the non-contract credits. They list the guest stars usually by seniority, so the ones who are around for just an episode or two (like Victor's real estate agent) are listed at the end of the credits each week, since they are the newest additions to the show. This past week, however, there happened to be no one-time only guests.

Since they say he is "crushing" on Serena it means that he will double cross Nicole. I guess he is there to help Nicole shoot herself in the foot again then he will disappear. It's getting old TPTB!

With only 4 soaps left, every news item is worthy of an article. If there were still 8 soaps on air, his casting would've been a blurb inside the mag and wouldn't have even been brought up on the website.

Ack. yes. That's what I should have said. of course.

 Don't know why I typed that.

I didn't mean "recurring section of the credits".
I meant the "non-contract section of the credits".

So he is only on for a couple of weeks??? I don't get why they bothered bringing him on. I wonder how he will leave? This is just stupid.
