I am guessing that 8p.m. is Eastern, so central would be 7 p.m.
Also guessing that the deal was just made recently, so Days will be in the POP Special slot.
This week, that slot is Schitts Creek.

Well we don't have to worry about missing a episode because of local breaking news anymore, just watch it at 8 pm on POP TV.

Beginning on August 24th, Pop TV will be airing same day episodes of Days at 8 p.m.

Check your local listing for the station on your cable/satellite system.

(what a line up too....6:30 bold and beautiful, 7:00 Young and Restless and 8:00 Days!)

Hooray! People said Hulu was no longer showing Days, and the episodes were being removed from YouTube. Now we know why!

This is such great news. Now local preemptions (storms/VIPs/breakingnews) won't muck things up.

Comcast has also been slowly adding shows to their on-demand feature and I suspect DOOL is heavily requested. GH has been on demand for over a year. Maybe there will be another surprise soon.

Great news, I wish it had started sooner.
This must be why they aren't showing DOOL on hulu anymore, and taking youtube channels off.

We cut the cable years ago, I watched on HULU until this week. All of a sudden it was redirect to NBC. Okay, that is fine. . .except the feed on NBC is all messed up. You will get part way through the show and the picture will go black, you can hear, but not see. If you try to restart, you have to go through all of the commercials to get back where you are and then screen goes black again. I spent an hour trying to watch an eppy and never got past 19 minutes in. I am guessing you have to use cable to see POP? So I guess if NBC doesn't want peeps watching it on their own site, they will lose viewers.

The show is very easy to find on youtube each day. Full episodes. You won't get spoonfed a link, but usually a combination of the date (sometimes with leading 0's, sometimes not) and a few random words like "days" or "dool". The term "full episode" helps avoid the clipfests that crazed, obsessive fans post, though some of those work fine too, linking together all the scenes from a certain couple, and links to other storylines from the same day.

I found the Thursday full 36 minute episode in about 12 seconds. Commercial free.

Dragging out this old topic to let Comcast viewers know that Comcast is in the process of moving Pop to a higher tier of service during the month of January. It has already happened in some areas and the Comcast message board has a few entries asking about the change.

For the most part, Pop (formerly scrolling listings, then TVGuideNetwork, then TVGN) is on the lowest "basic" tier of programming, meaning that everyone had it. Comcast is moving it to its Preferred Tier, which is the mid-grade.

The change happens in my area on Jan 14. There was a notice back on the November statement and I didn't think much about it, since I have Preferred. Then I recalled that I only receive Preferred level of service on my main cable box. The smaller, cigarette box sized digital boxes on my other TVs only get the basic channels.

Comcast claims that Pop insisted on charging a higher rate, which led to the move.
