So there is a acting coach on the Days set....very interesting! There has been complaints on Vivian who plays Ciara. Her acting is not up to par or something. If you compare with the actress who plays Claire, Claire is very good...Lot of viewers love Claire, even though Ciara may be the main character in the future. For me on Vivian, she is okay...could be a little bit better. It depends. At first, it was weird seeing the soared Ciara, but I am okay for now. I guess different flavor for different viewers. |

I just saw Michael say on Twitter that Becky Herbst was not the answer to the blind item. I guess my first instinct was correct. LOL. |

I think the one about the actor wanting to return is Ronn Moss and the company he keeps is his twat of a wife given things she's said. |

Sure. She was the acting coach at Passions until it was cancelled and then came to Days. A lot of cast members have mentioned her. Here's a few: FREDDIE THANKS MARIA IN HIS ACCEPTANCE SPEECH LAST YEAR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=as5wx87lmG8 "Maria, thank you for adding color to my acting. I love you for that." CHANDLER MASSEY ACCEPTANCE SPEECH: "Hi. First of all, I'd like to thank everyone at NBC and Corday and the amazing cast and crew and the writers and producers. All the credit goes to you guys. Also, this isn't fair, because I have the best actor to work alongside and that's Freddie Smith. Freddie, you are phenomenal. You are absolutely incredible and it's my privilege to work with you. Also, I want to thank Maria O'Brien, the acting coach at Days. I wouldn't have a job if you weren't there. I'd be fired. And Greg (Meng) and Lisa (De Cazotte), thank you so much. I'd like to thank you as well. And also, Ryan Farentino, my manager; Jeff Ballard, my publicist; Charlie; and also my family. My mom, thank you so much. Camille, Christian, Cameron, Mimi and Poppa, I love you. Everyone's thanking their dads. I want to thank...Happy Grandfather's Day to you, Poppa, and Dad as well, thank you. Happy Father's Day. I love you. And Cameron, I said. That's it. I mean...thank you so much. Thanks...Please wrap up. Okay, alright, thanks!" JEN LILLEY MENTIONS MARIA... http://jen-lilley.com/category/news/page/8/ Lilley jokingly added that in real life the only qualities she shares with Theresa is that they are the same height and wear the same shoe size, and said that not even their hair color is the same. In fact, she admits that in life she is not as aggressive as her character and attributes her attitude to the acting coach (Maria O’Brien) that helps her get into the b—–y mode. ERIC MARTSOLF CALLS HER A SCRIPT SUPERVISOR... http://www.welovesoaps.net/2011/09/eric.html WE LOVE SOAPS TV: What is the best advice anyone at DAYS ever gave you? Eric Martsolf: There's been a lot. I was talking with Maria O'Brien, one of our script supervisors, who's gracious enough to help everyone with their lines in the morning. She told me one day, "Make sure what you don't say is just as important as what you say." Many times actors get disgruntled because they don't have enough lines and want something to say. The bottom line is you can speak volumes by saying nothing. Just because you're not saying anything on camera doesn't mean you're not present and can't be interactive in a scene. I think that's important. BLAKE BERRIS ON MARIA... http://michaelfairmansoaps.com/days-of-our-lives/the-blake-berris-interview-days-of-our-lives-2/2014/05/13/ BLAKE: That started taping the morning, and the rest of the day was Nick bleeding, and then going to the morgue. I think it was an all day, day for me. I was last up. It was a day of dying. I did not know Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) that well. We really have never had an opportunity to act with each other. She is really an interesting person and we shared a lot with each other, along with the acting coach on set, Maria O’Brien. We had such interesting conversations and really connected. I was really excited that we had that time before shooting all of that meaningful material together. I value doing the scenes with her; it felt cool to go out with Susan, because she is an incredible icon and has such a legacy on the show...I have not watched it. I was talking with Maria, because the first shot happens from behind. I wanted to play with him having no idea of what the f **k just happened. If you did get shot, it would properly hurt a lot, because your body only knows how to process it because your brain tells you the information. But if your brain doesn’t have that information, it would probably feel like something hit you. It would be like a sharp pain, but you wouldn’t know what was happening. So that is what I was trying to play with – having this thing hit me and then trying to piece it together as it’s happening. It’s really not till Nick sees the blood on his hand that I think the idea of he is about to die, or this existential threat of it, is processed for him. Edited by Jason47, Feb 10 2016, 05:53 PM.

Passions was goofy and crazy and ridiculous most of the time, but it definitely didn't have a shortage of talent. |

Days was not doing soo good with winning Emmy's when Passions was on! After when it got cancelled and the time this acting coach has spent, she made those win the Emmy's! That says it all! |

No need to be negative about Passions. Some of us around here that are Days fans that had to defect after Passions was canceled. Sure Passions was kooky, crazy, bizarre and outlandish, but personally...that's part of the reason why I loved it so much. And quite honestly, I am not ashamed to heavily favor EM & GG because I've loved them since Passions. So there. :) :teehee: |

Well my opinion is that Days had better talent actors and the level dropped by B-actors from Passions, thought it was idiotic to cast GG and EM when there was far more better actors out there. Just saying :) |

Peter is an excellent actor and he has the ability to pull things from other actors that normally are not there. It's a gift he has I think. |
