That's a 2014 instagram from Casey's account. I wonder why that Elvis fan account chose to highlight it now?

That Meng tweet is very interesting. It's starting to seem like DC is back for more than an appearance.
If they resurrect Aiden, I'm going to bet that the bling item posted a few weeks ago about a an actress being unhappy despite getting great, frontburner story is KA. We all know she was all about Haiden and she has been very quiet aside from certain interviews here and there. As has Galen Gering. It seems neither actor was totally into this. It shows in their scenes that they are trying but not passionate about it It could just be the horrible story but still. The Hope/Rafe thing was present while Griffith had more control but it wasn't like this. Dena seemed far more obsessed with it than anyone. I wonder if once Griffith and Beth took hold, they dumped the Rafe/Hope mess altogether to salvage both characters. We keep seeing Rafe in that denim shirt. Maybe Rafe goes to prison for Hope or something and gets isolated for awhile and Hope is on her own ans rebuilds her life for a bit before DC returns as Aiden and then her story goes in that direction.
This is very interesting. I could see KA, along with SN and MBE, complaining about the past few months of story. Corday loves KA so if she said something, that would weigh heavily.
Weren't there rumors a few years ago that GG and KA were both against a Rafe/Hope pairing? I think it was in late 2012 / early 2013 after PR had left, Hope was in limbo, JS and AS pushed for Ejami so TomSell didn't know what to do with Rafe. I remember rumors that it was being discussed pairing them but then they opted not to and we got CS as Jordan for Rafe.
GG seemed to be more energized and more into the material we saw in the Fall than the past 3 months. That speaks volumes to me. I don't doubt he wants a love interest but he probably liked the fact that Rafe was finally focused on as a character and not as part of a pairing. Not to mention, he probably is uncomfortable with the idea of having to deal with two fanbases (Bope, Haiden) and would rather have his own pairing that he feels may have a chance and that doesn't have baggage. He already had that with Sami and he was lucky enough to have build a fanbase on Days with that but, in the end, he lost out and I think he would rather not have that happen again. KA and him seem to play the friendship banter between Hope and Rafe far better than the sexual tension stuff.
That tweet from Brad Everett Young is interesting. All signs point to a long-term DC return right now. I can honestly say that before this week I NEVER saw that coming.

Well this is a great big slap in the face to BOPE fans. Other boards Are stating KA demanded DC return. This totally sucks I highly doubt DC returned solely because KA demanded it. I don't think that's how it works.
That said, I'm not wild about a long-term DC return either.

I doubt she demanded anything. She probably made it clear she thought the Haiden fans got screwed and so did DC and may have indicated displeasure (as I am sure others did as well) with the direction of her character/story but I don't think she forced anything. Corday does think highly of her so he probably took what she said seriously and then that combined with feedback they had received and then ousting Higley all played as factors.

We also still don't actually know what he's back for. Exactly.
I just never thought I would see it happen, though. I'm sure the show knew he had his fans but that has never stopped them from getting rid of someone and not bringing them back before. I'm really curious to see the reason behind this.

Overall, I think it's interesting that two key players from the fall's big stories (Aiden and Ben) are coming back for an unknown number of episodes. It may just be a coincidence, but if there's more to it, it might suggest that there was always a bigger plan here.
I know it's like a broken record, but I really think that Dena f--cked up Josh's ideas for the fallout in December. And now that she's gone, he's steering some of the stories back to where he would have taken them (particularly C/A) had she not interfered.

I just want BOPE and KA fans to realize she is team Haiden. KA does not deserve our support.

Griffith likes dark stories. He likes psychological stories. I think we would've gotten focus on other characters in December while the fallout from the Fall stories took place and then that fallout would've built to new stories for those most affected by the big events of November. It's pretty clear from what we know is coming in returns and what we are starting to see that these stories may be circling back to where we were in late November.
It just sucks that what he had got derailed.

Been a fan since the 80's. Grew up watching them. I actually spent most of Haiden's run (that is, when I was able to post) bashing Haiden and the writing of them because it sucked.
However, DC was screwed IMO. Now he isn't the first actor to have that happen and won't be the last. It's a business and it happens and if the show didn't bring him back, it wouldn't bother me at all. I'm not even saying they should bring him back. Doesn't matter to me. Just calling it like I see it. Now, I don't think his character really got trashed. Aiden was always shady and what happened could've always happened.
For me, it doesn't matter. I've seen characters get axed just like Aiden did over the years. I just wanted to make it clear I'm not in any way, shape, or form playing sides here. I don't ship couples or whatever. Never have, never will. I have my favorite characters/couples but if they left/broke up tomorrow, I could care less. I watch for the whole show. If the show itself sucks, than I have an issue.

I've been saying that even the J&M spoiler sounds just like multiples ones we got in the fall. Chad remembering he knew Rafe yesterday reminded me of that too.

I don't think actors really get screwed unless their paycheck doesn't arrive. Mayyybe the "no-exit exits" for longtime characters. Maybe.
I think it would be a mistake to try to pick up and head back in a Haiden direction (come ON), but I don't think DC coming back now has anything to do with respect for Bope or PR.
