WRITER DANIELLE PAIGE REMOVED FROM CREDITS... Posted Image Script writer Danielle Paige, who wrote a total of 10 "Days" scripts from August 17-February 11, was removed from both the NBC and PopTV credits today, so it seems she is no longer with the show. This leaves "Days" with six script writers, which is the usual number they have had in recent years, so there may not be a replacement for her. TODAY'S RENEWAL ASSURES "DAYS OF OUR LIVES" TO REACH 13,000 EPISODES! Posted Image With today's announcement that "Days of Our Lives" has been renewed for another year, "Days" is assured to become just the fourth scripted series in US history to reach 13,000 episodes! Barring any unscheduled preemptions, Episode # 13,000 is set to air on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. "Days" joins "General Hospital" (which aired its 13,000th episode in February 2014), "As the World Turns" (which reached the mark in April 2007) and "Guiding Light" (which was the first scripted show to reach the mark in June 1987). 30 YEARS AGO: FEBRUARY 1986 CAST CHART... The Chad double doesn't have Billy Flynn's dazzling blue eyes. Perhaps he's seen from behind (or wears contacts?).

IMDb also lists David C. Scott as a doctor and Hayden Szeto as a teen for Friday's episode. I'm assuming the doctor will be in Ava's dream and the teen will be in Ciara's dream. |

Maybe Chad's double is for a fight scene, since the stunt coordinator is listed this week. If that's the case, eye color doesn't really matter. ;) |

I was thinking the teen might be for Ava. Her dream could involve her son as a teen. |

The Chad double must be for Abby's dream on Friday. |

The actor playing the teen is Asian. So, I don't think so... LOL! http://www.imdb.com/media/rm4036616704/nm4861659?ref_=nm_ov_ph# Edited by cord08, Feb 9 2016, 03:56 PM.

He has an interesting bio http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4861659/bio Didn't Steve and Ava plan to go to Indonesia to look for her son? Maybe she did have a son but Steve wasn't the father? (But I'd prefer that Ava have no more storylines at all). |

Since Jason didn't list him as a "principle" guest star, I'm assuming he's just an extra and won't have a big (or any) type of speaking role. I think if he were Ava's kid, he'd have a bigger role to play in her dream. |

...which is why Jason didn't list him. ;) I posted about it because I saw it on IMDb. EDIT: Yeah, sorry for the confusion. :) Edited by cord08, Feb 9 2016, 06:12 PM.

Is it still a plan of yours to get every month's cast chart on the site, Jason? |

Yes. Do you have any suggestions? Don't know how much room it will take up, but think I need to do it off-site, since the photos take up a lot of space. However, anything (or at least a majority) of the stuff I post on Facebook seems to magically change its URL at random during the year. Would be quite simple if I could just post them all to Facebook, but if I spend all that time doing that and linking to them, they'll just disappear from my site within the year, and then I'll need to go back to my original FB posts and find their new URL's (and those could change again at a later date). It's an annoying endless cycle! I noticed the same thing happened (to at least some) of Matt's scans of the Soap Digest synopses on the Tumblr website. So, while those are two sites that allow photos to be posted, they seem to randomly change their URL's sometimes, which is no good for my charts. I need a photo site (preferably free) that never changes its URL, so that when I link to the many years of charts, I know that they will always be there, and won't change URLs at random. I only compiled charts through 1990. The stuff from 1991-2000s I compiled cast/set lists by looking over the daily scene-by-scene logs. I started doing charts again around 2009, and have been posting them monthly since 2012 on my site, so the 2012-2016 range is up on the site now. Strangely enough, all/most of the monthly charts I have posted on Facebook since 2012 seem to have all stayed up and not disappeared. But it's all the other photos that disappear at random on my site. Take for example this page: http://www.jason47.com/days/oddsandends.html I started that page I think sometime last year, and linked to many of my Facebook photos. When you visit that page today, however, most of the photos have disappeared. They still exist somewhere on my Facebook page, but I'd have to track them down again and find their new URL's and edit in the new URL's on my site. And if I do, even then, they might change again in the future. Don't know why it happens? Does anyone?? And when you're talking 25 years of charts, I don't want to spend time doing it the first time. And then six months later, half of them disappear and need to have their URL's changed. So, that's been the main sticking point as to why I haven't added them yet. |

She didn't last long. I wonder if she was let go or if she decided it wasn't for her. |
