Sami in the bathroom at Chez Rouge...
Abby in the Horton house bathroom about two years ago. Think it was after she found out she wasn't preggo, maybe.
I remember those scenes. It was after Sami had confronted her about EJ and she discussed everything with Jennifer.

Wouldn't people attending Nicole and Daniel's wedding know that Daniel was killed and wouldn't send presents? This is, of course, assuming that their closest friends and family were the people invited...
They built a shrine to him in Horton Town Square the whole town should know he's dead,

I did get a "green screen" vibe for that certain moment you are talking about. Perhaps there were some regular folks in the water, so they decided to use a green screen for that certain shot (afterwards, as an insert). But, other than that one moment, the rest of it looked like a real beach on location.

Yes, but there is one moment that Chazbone talked about that I noticed yesterday as I was watching, specifically when Brady started walking towards the beach. For a specific shot or two in that sequence, it looks like a green screen may have been used briefly in place of the actual water.

She didn't look high to me too. But I didn't expect anything extreme.
Not everyone expriences euphoric response to opioid medications.
This is true, but tbh I think in this case it's just that the actress probably doesn't know how to act while high on something, lol

Surprisingly, I'm not hating Beemer in the role this time around. He actually seems more fitting now with a teenage daughter in play. I don't think even Belle knows where she's heading right now, but at least she's being called out on her shitty decision making. I'm willing to give this more time to develop.

VJ is great crier, I will definitely give her kudos for that, as I have yet to really appreciate her acting in any capacity. Just last week she couldn't make any of her dialog sound realistic, but she did a good job today (although she didn't talk a whole lot) . . . so I'll agree she can handle heavier material better. Production is also doing a great job with some powerful visual shots. I'm not thrilled over this storyline, I didn't feel the build-up (not even on Wednesday's show) and don't feel like cutting Josh and Dena any slack for not being able to agree on what was actually intended all along. I could honestly take or leave the character of Chase, I'm not so much bothered he was ruined . . . whether or not this story is successful, I'm sure there will be some great material for a lot of characters involved to play . . . I just didn't find him as unnecessary as some did. For a couple of reasons, I liked the idea of this character being adopted by Hope and basically surviving Aiden (kind of like Melissa Anderson survived Linda and was a good character without being a big deal legacy character), and his being a troubled, misguided kid not being so extreme. Obviously that idea is now kaput and what's done is done.

Anyway . . .

Theo and Joey were really cute today. Friendships are important, we need to see more of these type of scenes in variety.

Skipped over the Thrady and Nicole scenes . . . I just don't care. The shot of Brady on the beach did make me wish it was summer though (it's freezing where I am).

I hate self-righteous Rafe and arrogant Hope. This storyline continues to work against these characters and I need it to end. I'm totally with Andre in these scenes (loving his liners, too). Stefano and Andre were long overdue for some "poetic justice", there's no denying they deserve it, but ever since Hope murdered Stefano (without any solid proof he was responsible for Bo's kidnapping), every step she and Rafe have taken to cover their tracks went against what they're supposed to stand for, and their unapologetic attitude has turned me off. This idea to frame Andre, as if he can stopped from behind bars, is seriously stupid. They just pissed him off even more. I don't care if Stefano ever comes back to life and clears them, I don't want these two for cops anymore.

Oh and Roman . . . (Josh Taylor really needs to lose that one expression of his, lol. Was he supposed to be thinking at the end? I couldn't tell what that was) . . . I don't blame Roman for buying into Rafe's theory with the evidence presented, biased and all. I even think it makes sense for him to initially dismiss Andre's version of events. It actually seems like he'll dig further into this and uncover the truth . . . but if doesn't . . . if he actually lets Hope and Rafe feed him a bogus case . . . he should to lucky to be demoted when the truth comes out.

Jennifer and Eric were really good. Great work from GV and MR. (Still can't take those heels seriously though, lol) Eric is really over the edge here, and I like that Jennifer is drawn to that because soul-saving is very in-character hobby for her. I'm taking these kissing scenes between them as a way of holding on without actual romantic feelings behind them. Least at this point.

I'm not impressed with Missy's take on playing a character that is high on drugs. I shouldn't need to rely on Eric saying she is, and the recap to know that she is ..

Eric numbs himself with alcohol, then shows up at Jennifer's to find her equally smashed on pain meds.

Greg on the other hand played it perfectly.
I agree! I'm not even one that hates Jennifer with Eric right now so I feel like I can say this without any fanbase bias. I don't think MR is doing a good job of selling Jennifer as an addict. It wouldn't make sense for Nicole of course at this point, but if it was reversed and Nicole was the one hooked on pain meds I'm pretty sure we'd be seeing something pretty fabulous. Greg is absolutely selling it at this point and he's just taking Jennifer along for the ride.

This really is just Thrady 2.0 just in a little different incarnation. But if EM had the chops that GV has I might have been sold much more on Thrady when they were doing drugs together.
I don't know, I feel like some people are very good at faking sobriety in real life. I do think maybe it could be played up more for the audience to be clear about what's actually happening, but then again, not many characters have noticed Jennifer acting different (and both Eric and Theresa obviously have experience with addiction), which makes me think this is a conscious decision to show Jennifer appearing more normal than not.

What I didn't like was Eric originally coming to the conclusion she was addicted after maybe two days since the accident. It made no sense, they barely even spent time together. He saw her pill pop one time and jumped all over it. But now that it's apparently an established thing, it doesn't bother me that he sees through her.

Point 1 Isn't it traditional to return the presents if you don't end up getting married.

Point 2 Didn't Daniel die on New Years Eve and wasn't the wedding planned for Valentines day so who still send a wedding present 1 and a 1/2 months after the groom to be is dead?
I wondered about that too. And how did the presents end up in Daniel's office? They should have been delivered to his apartment.

They got delivered to his office because they were going to get the apartment painted.
