I think I'm just kind of numb at this point. The Days I loved ended months ago when Greg was fired and Eric/Nicole disappeared and it became clear this regime was not going to write for Ericole. I haven't loved the show since the FOL last summer.

It's really hard to get invested when the writers/stories keep changing....Aug., Dec., Feb. and again in a few months.

Maybe I'm just ready to be done.

We don't know the reason why they let Josh go. My thinking maybe it was his decision to leave. We really don't know the true story behind it until we'll know what happened. Maybe he wants to do something different than just be a writers. My wish for him all the best and happiness in his life, always.

Yeah the article says Griffith chose to leave in order to pursue other ventures. If that's true, it kind of makes me feel a little better. That and the fact that they decided to bring someone else in to pair with Higley. I mean they could've easily just had Higley be the sole head writer. That's kind of telling.

I'm curious why Beth didn't stay.

They probably got the new guy because Dena is able to brow beat him and get away with it.

Maybe Beth was always intended to be nothing more than a fill in. Maybe we read too much into what was going on. Or perhaps Beth will remain a part of the writing team. Just not as a co-head writer.

I have to wonder if Lorraine Broderick was offered the position.

Because Dena would've "brained" Beth with a candlestick.

Yea I don't know how much influence Beth had. She may have been there to help Josh since they knew each other already.

Idk, even if it was his decision to leave it may have been because of the creative differences or other issues related to the HW-job on Days.

Id start a petition but I fear that in six months theyd finally fire Higley just to rehire Tomlin.

I mean. Look at that post. There was a fan campaign to get rid of her. It worked. And she's back like the worlds worst cockroach

He probably refused to work along side Dena. Knowing what a talentless bitch she is, I don't blame him. This is all Corday.
Yep this 100% Corday.

Guys, I believe we need to do something for DAYS & make a demand for better writers because this has gone far too long & DAYS needs a real good rebot! If someone can lead, I will follow!
Lets do something, twitter campaign or something, all for it.
Ok, who's leading?

Exactly, what not take out Higley & add Beth in?

I think Josh was gone awhile back and Days is only announcing it now.

Josh had a cryptic tweet in January about knowing when to fold. He probably made the decision to leave then.

If he left in January, his material would air into June/July with the current taping schedule
