Does everyone know how to schedule tweets?

I'm planning to do more tweets on Monday during the east coast show. I'm going to schedule a bunch and also tweet live. I can give some scheduling pointers if you want.

Wow. DH is such a little snotty yahoo. That's a GREAT way to chase away potential future viewers who may become Nielson families. Seriously though, how does this moron still have a job?

It's so weird. When you have an artistic job, you usually want more people to discover what you do.

All those book excerpts display perfectly why Dena is just not cut out to be a head writer or a writer at all. I don't even understand how she was part of the writing team for so long when she's so lazy. That is the issue. She wants to just give the ideas and let everyone else figure the rest out and that is what she does but, when called out on it and called upon to do more, she freaks out and becomes outraged and makes a scene. She feels slighted and pulls the whole "I'm not capable of this" card. She plays the victim. She's the poor, put upon head writer who is doubted constantly and must rise above all the politics involved in the entertainment industry. GIVE. ME. A. BREAK. You know what you get into when you sign on. There is always interference and always people who will doubt you. It's your job to work with it and write the best story you can and do all your position entails to the best of your ability. Don't just do 25% of your job and pawn the rest off. The network doesn't like your ideas? Fine, write something better or sell them on it or stand up for the idea and, when you prove them wrong, tell them just that. She's an adult working in the entertainment industry. If she put as much effort into her job as she did getting pissy and doing what she does to hold onto her job, she would be amazing.

I do think King is right, to an extent. I think she does do what Corday wants but only right out of the gate. Corday always seems to favor the vets and what is familiar. You look back at Dena's reigns and they always start off with big returns and focus on the vets. Always. And things may be good the first few months but, after those first few months, the bottom falls out. Probably when Corday stops being involved and is no longer around the studio since that is what he does. Steps in for a bit and then leaves until trouble arises again. I would bet once he stops being around and watching, she wreaks havoc and then when it gets back to Corday that the show has gone off the rails, she blames others and gets them fired while hanging on to her job. Both times she got fired were because Corday was forced to fire her. It's obvious he never wanted to. It's just mind-boggling.

How in the world can they keep hiring someone who basically talks trash about the bosses in a published tell-all? I mean, being a woman in a male-dominated industry can be extremely difficult; I don't take that away from her. But it's clear to me that she doesn't feel she was respected, so why the hell would she want to work there again? Also, talking about menopause this way?

EDITED: Bless this fan who has taken it upon themselves to read her book to get all of this stuff. I don't think I could make it past the first chapter.

OH. MY. GOD. So now it's the fans' fault they can't follow her stories? Jesus on a wheel.

And working for Days (in part) sometimes led her to drink vodka in the morning...... You can't make this shit up. Her loathing of these people is just palpable. My god.

Clearly, she doesn't have as many near and dear friends as she thinks she does. Otherwise they wouldn't have let her put this out. It seems as if she's trying to paint herself in a sympathetic light only to describe, in detail, how incompetent she truly is.

And that line about her not recognizing the show reminds me of Ken's own comment. No one likes their shit, but when the ball drops its everyone else's fault. I mean he dragged TomSell and she seems to hate what she does in her "spare time." Those two are either completely inept or they just have no fucks to give.

Did anyone from NBC read her book? Did anyone from Sony? I would assume they at least know but, man, do I feel like somehow sending/tweeting some execs these book excerpts just in case they didn't see them in hopes it makes a difference. I mean, she sounds miserable in this job. Why on earth does she even do it? A paycheck isn't even worth that. Hell, she could just keep writing books.

The more I read the scarier it gets. I don't even care about the storylines. I just want the show to survive. I guess "The Suits" at NBC are far from being happy with this choice. Apparently they don't trust her and this translates into active interference which isn't a good thing.

LOL so her writing was great but the people on set were changing everything and that's their fault if the show was bad. How convenient.
She sounds like a classic narcissist.
These book excerpts make me think she is really way past narcissism. She's a straight up sociopath - has no talent, manipulates and makes life miserable for everyone around her, and leaves a path of destruction in her wake. If that's true, heaven help Ryan Quan.

Oh man, DH has to go. So far, I have seen people express their feelings on how DAYS needs new Headwriter and DH isn't it.

Um, who would employ somebody for a job a second time when the first time led to sucking down vodka an psychotic episodes. I'm sure there is some hyperbole... but... um...she's a writer. She should know the power of words.

I just tweeted the link to Steve Kent & Greg Meng so they can get it from Amazon.

Its behind the spoiler for anyone who wants to read it (not sure if it violates any board rules to post it).

Thank you JCP.

I have a sinking feeling that Ken has decided to stick with her till duration and nothing is going to budge him. He figures cancellation in a few months and he doesn't care that she is the one that writes them out of there.

I bet what Josh is writing is more expensive to produce that what Dena is writing and that played in her favour, especially if NBC asked them to lower the license fee again in January.
It's like 2003 all over again.

Corday used that same excuse to get rid of Brash and Cwickly, who did an amazing job and had good ratings and were praised by both fans and critics. He got rid of them for Higley because the show was going through renewal issues and had to be more budget conscious and he said she had this amazing plan, knew the show from her long history on the writing team, and could keep the show more in line with a budget.

It was ridiculous then and it's ridiculous now. He just LOVES Higley. No one would keep bringing someone like her back with her track record over and over again unless that was the case.
This reminded me of how Corday in his book praised Higley's work in 2003, when in fact the ratings crashed during her five months as head writer.

Poor, poor Ken Corday, always in a tailspin, always a fool.
