I like to think that Eric and Jennifer have been upstairs having sex the whole time all this other crap has been going on in Jen's house.

Episodes like today are proof that you can still have a decent episode even if the stories suck. I'm hoping this is a spin in the right direction.

Well, I didn't care for today at all. Didn't need Steve recapping the entire story to Hope. If they're going to play it as infidelity (like most of the show played today), then I don't need to see all these scenes of him feeling sorry for himself.

It was nice to see Kayla slap Ava, but all together it was way too much catfight for me. Kayla has a million reasons to want to kill Ava that have nothing to do with her taunting about sleeping with Steve. The storyline is basic and only works when SN and MBE are in the same scene.

The Chase/Andre scenes, just no. And they were endless.

At least there's some intrigue around Summer.

I found a lot of Josh's show in the fall frustrating, for different reasons than Higley's. Today reminded me of that feeling.
The other thing that rang wrong for me was the part at the end about Steve looking for understanding for what he did... meanwhile Ava is still out there on the loose and terrorizing Kayla as we speak. If he wants to make things right, he needs to get out there and be active in stopping her. Today he looked really passive while Kayla is still bearing the brunt of the storyline, and I didn't like it.

Last time I checked the drinking age was still 21 so turning 18 in a few doesn't cut it.
There are a few states out there where the age is 18 but at least one of thpse says that`s only for beer.

However, since Salem seems to be close to Chicago, the age there is 19 even for just beer.
Really? I honestly don't feel like teenagers of that age are mature and experienced enough to be drinking , but that just me.
Oh I agree with you.

I think some who ARE legal age shouldn`t be allowed. It`s not always age that shows maturity.

It's twisted and weird, but I sorta like Andre as a father figure to Chase. I think it's a good interaction for both characters.

Oh God, a surprise Theresa sighting at the end. Sigh. Well, it was almost a good episode.

It's been 2 minutes and we have a Steve/Hope scene and a Bo reference.

I was curious about that. If he tried to call her or something today

Theo is so adorable. And Ciara is so haunted by that couch.

VJ does kind of an amazing job of trying not to cry and failing.

I'm not thrilled about the age change either. VJ may do well with the rebelling Ciara.

Hey, look. Hope knows Ava is back. "Can't you do something about her?" I dunno, Hope. Maybe they should strap in her a wheelchair and shoot her.

"Ava had me right where she wanted me."

LOL. Hope knew exactly what that meant.

Did they want to make Summer look naked?

Brady: We'll do CPR later. First I need to know why you're here, Nicole.
