I was curious about that. If he tried to call her or something today
Nope. Just knocking back vodka shots.
Thanks. So that annoys me too. Not the reaction I want from Steve

Yes. Save drowning woman. Don't call an ambulance. Take her to your hotel room. And Nicole is demanding she be grateful? Let her take two damn breaths, woman.

Steve's retelling isn't quite accurate...

I wonder if the retelling Steve gave John Friday is different from the one today and that's why we didn't see it. Really strange to have Steve do the same thing in back to back episodes and only show parts of one.

I wish JT were a better actor because in a perfect world I'd have liked to have seen Roman's response to Kayla's phone statement. But who cares about JT's Roman's reaction?

Maybe we should call the paramedics. Duh, Nicole.

I'm about ready for Rafe to be doing these types of things again. Fall Rafe was a good cop to watch.

I don't know . . . I can see both sides of it, but Kayla took off and said she needed some air (i.e. space from him). She barely got to the park before Ava showed up. I know Salem time is weird and it's hard to know how much time has actually passed, but it didn't feel like it had been that long since Kayla had left to me. And he went home looking for Kayla as soon as he was done talking to Hope.

So, I didn't feel like Steve was ignoring Kayla or whatever. I felt more like he was giving her the space she asked for (and it's not like he knew Ava was back in town since she didn't have to send that message from Salem). I think it's a bit of a damned if you do, damned if you don't think. Because if he had gone after Kayla and found her in the park (without Ava being present) he'd have been criticized for pressuring her and not giving her some space.

Like I said, I see the point about him being passive, but under the circumstances I'm not sure that was the wrong thing to do. It worked out badly, but that's pretty much par for the course for Steve these days.

Last time I checked the drinking age was still 21 so turning 18 in a few doesn't cut it.
There are a few states out there where the age is 18 but at least one of thpse says that`s only for beer.

However, since Salem seems to be close to Chicago, the age there is 19 even for just beer.
The drinking age in Illinois is 21, it used to be 19 & it was changed in the late 70's early 80's.
Sorry. I was going by an article from the internet and I see now that I misunderstood.

Some states USED to have different ages BEFORE the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984.

Again. Sorry `bout that.

I agree about the double edged sword. Maybe I'd have preferred if he looked for Joey. My initial reaction is that I don't love Kayla being confronted by Ava and he's at the bar

And yea he's in a vortex of bad decisions but I hope he starts getting things right soon. Kayla's been getting the bad end of the stick since the day Ava got to town.

It's really hard to take Andre seriously when he's whining about crimes committed against him that he's framed for...when I remember...well...basically every story he's ever done. And I get it. He was the bad guy and they're the good guys, but like...cry me a river, Andre.

Theo taking responsibility...my goodness. Marry him, Ciara. In several years when you're not both still children. But still.

Brady: "My heart rate is strong. I just got exhausted from the exertion."

Nicole: "Duh."

LOL.
So was Nicole worried about Danniel`s heart or about Brady?

Dear God. "You're still my little girl." The camera wasn't even focused on her and VJ played her response to that beautifully.
