Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Maybe he does, but wants to keep his job so he's covering. :-/
He doesn't seem like the type of person to keep mum about that sort of thing, though. I think he's even said in the past that he spoke up before??
He also got fired before, so. . .

If you don't know him, he played Brian, a love interest for Sonny, a few years ago.
Oh, Brant.
I can't fault BD. He's going from the small screen to the big screen. Depending on how big the role is, he's going to get more money than a cameo appearance on a tv show. Regardless of the subject matter, the first movie did well.

Brant is just...HOT. Will watch him in anything. 😊

If Josh quit, I feel a little bit better about things. To me, it would be worse if Ken fired him. I'm hoping there's the tiniest chance that Ken finally realizes Dena's a liability on her own and will keep trying to balance her out. Trying to find some hope, and that's all I've got.

Haha Pretty much my reaction yesterday but hey 50 Shades has done wonders or at least raised Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson's profile so maybe this role will be huge for him :D B-)
Hopefully. Too bad he got booted from DWTS too early.

The new head writer just went and followed a bunch of fans on Twitter. Even some who have tweeted a bunch of anti-Higley stuff. :mutley:

Guesses on how long he lasts before he shuts down that account?

The fact he is doing that is interesting because stuff like that could easily get him in trouble or worse. He must feel he can do that if he is doing something like that, to that extent.

That almost makes me wonder if he feels as though his position is secure and her's is not or may be temporary. Given it looks like Josh quit to avoid working with Dena and Dena was already on a LOA and given the fact we have heard so many like Quan while Jason is hinting at something in his weekly thread, I do have to wonder if Dena is only a placeholder and she is going to be gone or will be gone in the near future. Just starting to get a feeling there is something more going on.

Yeah, I didn't even think of the legal problems that could cause until you (correctly) said that following fans could get him in trouble since fans sometimes talk about story ideas, etc. My immediate thought is that it's just a rookie mistake on his part. Then again, Dena is friends with a bunch of fans on Facebook, so.... I mean, she's gotten in trouble for certain incidents, but her account's still there, and she (supposedly) still has a job.

The comments in Jason's thread are weird, and I'm still not sure what he is getting at. I wish they'd just announce all the BTS changes at once (actors, writers, etc.). This waiting game is trying my non-existent patience. LOL.

A follow is just a follow. That doesn't mean he approves what all these people tweet. I think it's nice that he's following fans. As long as he doesn't engage them, I don't see what the problem is.

I don't think he should follow fans. If he wants to gauge reaction to stories or get insight into what fans want he can easily do that by checking out the Days hashtag.

I worry when a writer gets too involved with fans because I want a writer who is confident in their ability to write creative exciting stories. I think encouraging fans to flood him with feedback leads to a bunch of noise that can muddle up the process. I don't want fans dictating story, I want a competent professional to give me gripping tales. Just incorporate the fundamentals of romance, family, suspenseful drama and you're good to go.

He worked for Mr. Ego himself for years. :D And he was his writing assistant, that's like lowest of the low position in the writing room. There is probably no one more qualified to work with Dena than him.

He hasn't interacted yet. So far I think he's just following the people who follow him. We'll see where he takes things next.

I wish Eric would have some more scenes with Father L before he leaves. Loved their last scene in the hospital.

I can't fault him either, but I still facepalmed a little.

I'd like him to continue to find success, but I wish it was in some other vehicle. Cause honestly I'm not spending my money on that, lol.

I just asked Jonathon McClendon on Periscope if he'll go on Dishin Days, but he said that they want him to stay "lowkey" while this storyline unfolds. He thinks he'll be aloud to do interviews in a few weeks or something.

So the kid is supposed to stay low-key, but he's Periscope 24/7? Ooookay then.

Also, this snark is not directed at the original poster at all. Thanks for bringing it over. :)

I'm sure they do want JMc to stay low key after his little rant the other day.

I see someone has very quietly rejoined Twitter on their old account. Hope they're getting some satisfaction out of the anti-Higley tweets.
