And as for below, yes.

"Yes" to Beth Milstein? (the name listed below the other two)

Jason47
Feb 22 2016, 05:36 PM
at least that's something.

At least Beth will be around?

As they say, third time's the charm.

The third *name* is the charm?

------------------------------------
I'm just guessing at the hints but ...
Jason are you hinting without saying anything that Beth will stick around?
The only "short" word I see in common with all three of those statements is "as, leASt, as"...Good Lord, AS isn't coming back or being hired as a writer, is she???

There is a saying that goes "as above, so below..."
I answered earlier that it didn't involve either of those two words. It was a shorter word that the focus should have been on.
Sorry, my post above should have quoted this one instead....

I think txshecat's guess seems to fit the clues.

Oh dear.

I could be totally wrong, but I don't think Jason was being quite that cryptic. Also, AS wasn't even a part of the conversation to which he was seemingly replying.

I think it has something to do with the writers, but I'm not sure what. I mean, if Beth is leaving, that's not really a surprise or a secret, as I always thought she was temporary. So, I'm not sure why he'd feel the need to be cryptic about that if that is the message of his hints.

If you look at the time stamps, my reply actually came before the posts below it happened, if that's of any help.

Yes, I saw that, but was still kind of confused. LOL.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that the key word is "yes," and it means, "Yes, we have 6-7 months of Dena-free writing." But again, that's not a secret, so I don't see the need for being cryptic.

I can understand your confusion. But remember, I wrote my response BEFORE he had posted that post, so I obviously couldn't have known he'd be posting about the writers.

Was it about the returns?

1. CM?
2. MA (long-term after the 5 ep stint)?
3. FS (long-term)?

(I'm confused as well, but it sounds to me like Jason was trying to answer the question he tought Hugo was going to ask him. The question is what could have been that "question" lol.)

Yeah, I thought about that too. But then Jason said that what Hugo eventually wrote didn't really matter, implying that the answer fit despite what Jason thought he was going to ask. So, it could mean, "Yes, CM is returning" and also "Yes, we're having another writing change in 6-7 months."

Haha, I've always sucked at riddles like this.

After Josh was let go and Higley being brought back, did they keep Beth or was she only there to help Josh while Higley was on LOA?

If she is sticking around, would she help with breakdowns of the days or be a dialog writer?
I think she would have been included in the announcement if she'd been kept. She probably was never meant to be permanent in the first place.
That totally makes sense
Hi Dave! I see you're new to the board and are a Jack and Carly fan. I miss my ATWT! Sigh.

Wait.. wait.. I'm newish around here, so hope you all don't mind me...

First, I think it's kinda interesting that Jason thought he could guess what Hugo was going to say. So if it wasn't Hugo's real comment about writers, was it about returns (which someone else brought up just before that)?

Jason's comments were:

"As for below, yes" (referring to Hugo's assumed comment, answering yes)

"But looking above, at least that's something" (is that just about the 6 months of writing without Higley?)

"As they say, third time's the charm. The words you are focused on are too big" (cryptically trying to say his answer was yes)

If it's about returns, Jason said "third time's a charm". So is there a character or actor that this would be a "third time" for? Here's where my knowledge level fails me. Haha. No idea!

I wasn't guessing what he was going to say. What he said then had absolutely no effect on my earlier post. And, yes, in that regard, it was the third time. I guess things will make sense at the appropriate time!

Based on nothing but hope, I'm taking a wild guess that "third time's a charm" is referring to this being Dena's third stint as head writer, and we will find out in due time that she's been fired once again.

Or.....it could be about Beth Milstein, who's also been at Days three times as either co or interim head writer.

Ah yes of course. Sorry, what I said didn't make much sense. You're not clairvoyant, haha.

But of course the post "As for below, yes" still makes no sense, haha. (and of course gets people guessing). But all good things come to those who wait, aye?
