On the one hand, I love that they're so protective of Ciara. On the other hand, have some chill.
I wouldn't kidnap him and tie him to a chair but I would beat the hell out of him. This is so something only television teens would do. I like it to an extent. I just hope the show doesn't screw up and have the bad guy end up being too much of a victim again. Maybe it was inspired by the dad and brother who cornered and beat up the guy who violently raped their daughter/sister? That was around this last summer, right? Or was that only in the news here?

Paul is at the square. Marlena and Ari are also. And then they're kidnapped. Maybe he sees it happen and that's how he gets involved. It doesn't seem he's part of the John and Eduardo rescue of Marlena and Ari
He at least would help. Brady would go see if Maggie needed help making lemon bars. He'd just go: "Oh look, Marlena hired help to take care of Ari. Have fun on your adventure you two." And then let Summer klepto her way around his house, as Nicole weeps and Maggie yaps.

I'm afraid the wedding scenes are going to be short with so much going on. We have Chad & Abby's wedding, Ari & Marlena kidnapped, and all of the teens + Hope confronting Chase going on all at once. I don't mean to step on the other stories, but I want this wedding to be good.
I know we had the BTS writer issues going on, but seemingly nothing happened in February. Couldn't have they had the wedding then when it could get the proper focus? I'm not convinced this is going to be their final wedding. I think the wedding will be busted up by all the other stuff going on shortly after Abby walks down the aisle. I could see them having a private ceremony later, maybe. Or maybe they won't get married at all with KM in the role, as much as that kind of stinks.
To be totally honest, I'm curious to see how Abby exits. If they're married when she exits (presumably alive), that seemingly puts Chad in a holding pattern from a pairings standpoint unless they want him to cheat on Abby. Since he's their younger leading male, I'm not sure how long they'll want to keep him in limbo. Then again, I don't think they thought it was going to take them this long to find an Abby recast.

Abby and Chad's wedding really begins on Friday, so maybe everything else will be beginning to wrap up then  We should have an idea when some spoilers of the week of the 14th get released tomorrow. But I bet Chabby wedding spoilers will be kept close to the vest.

I'm convinced this is their final wedding and it happens. KM is promoting it too much for it not to happen. TV Source is going to be doing a feature on it.
As far as a recast go, maybe they found someone and we don't know yet. We usually don't find out about someone until they have filmed for months.
I agree though, I'm curious about Abby's exit. Right now, I'm just looking forward to this wedding.

I know we had the BTS writer issues going on, but seemingly nothing happened in February. Couldn't have they had the wedding then when it could get the proper focus? Soaps have done this all the time. They are clearly going for the huge cliffhanger episode type deal with 3 huge stories playing out. The teens, the wedding, and the kidnapping. It's actually smart and what soaps and so many shows in general try to do because the hope is that it gets fans who may not be invested in other stories invested in other stories.
I think it's a good thing to do but it does screw over the wedding because nobody is going to be there. That is really the only way it really screws it over because it will likely get good focus since JG seems to really love writing Chad and Abby. Not that I expected many there anyway but it does take away from it. The problem with Days and all soaps nowadays is they limit events like this because of budget except on rare occasions like the bicentennial. The more cast they have at one event, the longer it can take to film and if some actors are recurring and not available than you have a whole new set of issues. The other issue is that whenever it comes to a Dimera wedding, it always ends up with a limited guest list. Now, you have a Dimera marrying a Horton here so there should be more than the last few Dimera weddings but there is really no one to be there from Chad's side but Abe and Theo. It was never going to be a huge amount of guests based on that and the fact that this show just doesn't have the huge families it used to have.
The only weddings in the past few years with huge guest lists were the Hope/Aiden bicentennial (which was because the entire cast was there for the party anyway) and Will and Sonny's wedding (and that is because you had Will, who was a Brady AND Horton and a Kiriakis so you had lots of connections there).
I think pretty much everything taking place this month would've taken place in February with JG in control.

Am I the only one tired of this "vigilante" stuff? Hope with Stefano/Malcolm, Joey/Ava, and now the teens/Chase- just go to the police. Geez. It's not edgy. I am. I don't like it, no matter how much Hollywood tries to make me like it.

I like her as Ashley Abbott much better.
I'm enjoying ED and Michael E. Knight. Love his character so far. I think it must be depressing for ED to play a dying Ashley after her brother passed away last month.

I know Josh wrote for CHABBY, but he may be the reason why I am interested in Summer's storyline! Not because Brady found her...its because she is looney and may want Brady to herself....

Kristen has no room to talk she is about as disturbed and psycho as Ava Vitali. If she ever did come back she would be out to get Marlena for ruining all her plans when Kristen went out that window in Italy.
We already did the Kristen gets revenge on John and Marlena. I don't need that again You mean when she first came back in 2012? That was so lackluster thanks to TomSell's low energy writing.

You mean when she first came back in 2012? That was so lackluster thanks to TomSell's low energy writing. Sure it was but it still managed to ruin their lives and didn't even allow it to come full citcle. That's how a good story is told. This was just a way to destroy J&M and the would have left them that way forever. The bad guy coming in should wreak havoc and not end with half the couple leaving town. Which is what the writing team wanted.

I wonder if Victor or Deimos let it out about that girl dying while with Philip? And maybe her father shows up. Thankfully Chad tells Abby. I figured they would have him keep it from her and then have her run into Ben. Summer is Maggie's daughter? Oh gee what a surprise. I have a feeling Theresa is going to be doing things behind Brady's back to get Summer out of town. Just like Sami would do.
I think it might be the other way around. Summer is obviously gonna be obsessed with Brady and try to cause tension between Thrady maybe even do something to try to get rid of Theresa. Summer doing something to "get rid" of Theresa??
Yes, please!
