I guess I'll be one of the few who didn't care much for the Chad/Stefano stuff. BF was great, and I liked the lighting, but... I just don't buy that Chad needed that much closure from Stefano. I mean, most of the time I watched, Chad had little to no time for the guy. As much as I don't like Andre right now, I'd find it more believable if he were the one having these types of scenes.

Kayla/Joey was okay. Some of the dialogue kind of bugged me, though. Like, it just sounds weird to hear Kayla call Joey "son" instead of "Joey." That's more of a Steve thing, IMO. I also find it weird when they have characters switch back and forth between "father" and "dad" within the same convo. Just pick one, and be consistent! I also thought Kayla would have a bit bigger reaction to Joey confessing, but I think she had already kind of figured it out on Friday.

It's really hard to get invested in Eric/Jen since I know he's leaving soon, but it was nice that Marlena got more scenes with her son. The sentencing thing is beyond stupid.

"Are you here to see a doctor or are you here to see me?"

Marlena. I know what you mean, but you ARE a doctor.

I don't think it's true Chad had little to no time for him. Stefano took Chad in and welcomed him to the family. He lived with him several times. Chad has always had a conflicted relationship when it comes to Stefano. He knew Stefano wasn't a good guy and that he was wrong for what he did, but he saw that Stefano was capable of giving love to his family. When Chad was shot, it was Stefano who went with him to Boston and stayed with him while he recovered. If Chad didn't have any feelings about Stefano, he'd be pretty cold. That's not who Chad is.

Andre having these type of scenes about Stefano makes no sense to me.

Aw, I'm glad Rafe is Chad's best man!
I think it should have been Theo.
Theo would have been a great choice!

You know Marlena, 14 years isn't that long. Just ask Joey.

Are they going to make Belle a competent lawyer? That'd be nice. It'd be nicer if it had worked with her own brother.

Sometimes I get distracted by the wardrobe and end up picturing the characters picking these things out at the store. On her day off, Kayla went and bought that bubblegum bathrobe.
It came as a freebie when she bought that Michael Kors dress in every color.

What a shame no Summer and Brady. And I was so looking forward to seeing more of them. LOL :P

I thought the scenes between Chad and Stefano were good. I think it kind of let Chad leave some of the pain behind.

I get the feeling that Marlena may transition into being the one to help Jennifer when Eric is gone. I could tell today that she wanted Eric to worry about himself and let Jennifer's family worry about her.

Kayla should just tell Roman what Joey did. Hell he's already covering up one murder what's another one. lol

Really enjoyed today's episode pretty much across the board. Very happy to see Chabby on screen. I'm glad they are planning the wedding, and it will be soon!

Loved Chad/Stefano. BF really did a good job in these scenes. It seemed like JM was more relaxed and he looked better than right before he was killed.

I am not sure how Belle is going to get Steve out of this, but I don't want to see Steve in jail, either.

I think the actor who plays Joey (I can never remember his name!) is doing much better in these scenes. I have seen much improvement starting with killing Ava.

I'm surprised how unannoyed I was with Eric/Jen scenes. lol I found them entertaining. I wish the writers would allow Eric to focus on his own drinking issues and why vs. trying to help Jennifer. I'm hoping for more Eric scenes, but at least he was able to have a scene with Marlena!

Today had some nice long scenes which I always appreciate. Loved Billy Flynn today. He's good. It was nice to see Joe M. I don't really buy into that father son relationship, but it is what it is. I would love for John to have that kind of dream about Stefano. That would be epic. I won't be getting that, of course.

I don't understand why Kayla didn't go to the police station with Steve and instead is at home in her robe, apparently sleeping before coming out to see Joey. Then after talking with him, Se goes back to sleep? The whole thing is bizarre to me. And MBE was just off today. I sure hope they get that kid some psychological help. For him to solve his problem with Ava by killing her is not a good sign that he can cope with life.

John, Marlena and Belle popping up was the best part of the ep for me.

I guess Eric is okay now. last time I saw him he wasn't doing good at all. Oh well.

No way JJ didn't see Abby on his way into the DiMansion.

I'm so tired of how dark this show is, and I don't mean the writing. Let there be light!

Hope kept Aiden's secret that 3-year-old Chase accidentally shot and killed his mother Meredith
Supposedly -- according to Aiden.
Of course we don't know what really happened, but that was Aiden's version of what happened.
Hope kept the secret because Chase apparently didn't remember it happening, and because of whatever else Aiden said at the time.
It's possible that Aiden killed his own wife, but we may never know.

Joey's situation is different, in that he's approximately? 18 years old, and he does remember killing Ava. But we still have a parent suppressing the truth.

If only Hope and Kayla could discuss this ...
But we probably won't see that beat happening.
