So Doug gives Abby away.
You'd think it would be JJ doing that... kinda like how JJ should also be Chad's best man instead of Rafe. Why would JJ be the best man when he is not a big fan of Chad? It should have been Sonny or Theo.

I really hope they don't kill of Abigail. There has been no news of a recast and it would be a damn shame if they killed her.
Within the time span of a year they have killed of Kristen, Serena, Paige, Will, Wendy(minor), Bo, Daniel, Stefano, and Ava. That's a pretty huge amount of characters for such a short time span. Adding more deaths isn't gonna help them. I don't think that they will kill off Abby.

There is a lot going on next week for sure. But that all looks like edge of your seat excitement to me. Sure beats crap like the elephant story line. Bring it on Days!

At what point do you stop calling a child a "baby"? Because Ari's like 2... almost 3. Isn't she considered a toddler now? Like, just say the child. My sister (who was ten years older) called me The Baby until I was eight. And she only stopped then because I insisted, lol.

I'm confused about Abby's wedding dress. The wedding dress that she's wearing in the promo is completely different than the dress that Abby tried on at the Horton house a few weeks ago. Theresa brought the dress to Abby, and Abby tried it on in front of the mirror in the Horton living room. The dress was strapless and had a corset top. (Abby freaked out a little bit when she saw herself in the mirror.) Theresa wanted to tighten the top of the dress so that it fit better, but Abby said that the dress was perfect.
However, Abby's wedding dress in the promo has straps and looks nothing like the dress that Theresa designed. Did Theresa throw out the first wedding dress and design Abby a totally different wedding dress for some reason?

It's a different dress.

Terrible promo. I hope Abby's scream plays out better on the actual show.
Yeah, the scream was the low point. Honestly, I think every promo stinks. These 15 second promos are just too short. They've been doing them in since 2008 and I have never liked them. Given the length, this one is one of the better ones simply because they had more to work with in terms of story but they could've really done wonders with a longer one. I really wish they would at least do the special longer promos they used to do for sweeps and special time periods when they had alot going on and wanted the extra promotion.
For me, the ones that concentrate on one story tend to work better, because you can get more of an arc for the week. They had two big things to promote this week so maybe they couldn't choose. (Sorry, J/M fans who are going to thumb me down, but that location set does look horrible. There's no atmosphere. It's almost like black box theater.) Well I want to wait to see how it airs. That's like seven seconds of it so who knows how it plays. A shootout with a toddler involved in a hostage situation is pretty intense. I also think they are trying to not give too much away.

I dunno it seems odd that Eric's at that wedding. Is he in love with Jennifer now? Did she ask him to go with her, or was he invited, but no other Brady's were? At least I didn't see any Brady's but him. Or did he ask her to take him so he could watch her to make sure she isn't popping pills? Is he on a Daniel mission like Brady now? I'm glad that Eric will be at the wedding. I'm sure he's there to watch over Jennifer. But I'm hoping that he finds out about Ben escaping and actually gets to have a reaction to it! And he's not the only Brady there, Ciara is there too.

I realize the irony of this, but I wish it were a darker set.

It's the same boring warehouse they've used for the Bo stuff, the Hope stuff, the Basic Bkack stuff, the Ciara kidnapping...

My sister (who was ten years older) called me The Baby until I was eight. And she only stopped then because I insisted, lol. Yeah see... lol, I'm the baby between my siblings and my sister was 14 years older than me. Neither her or my brother referred to me as "the baby" so it just seems weird to me.

I will concede the point that the warehouse set they're using for the kidnapping isn't the best, but I'll take it GLADLY over Murder Park, the Square, club WTF, or any others we've seen too much of in the past couple of years.
