The Summer storyline is a big pile of dung, but it can be salvaged unlike the Elephant storyline.
I don't know, at least the elephant saga culminated in us getting hunky PT's Xander. I wish he would come back, hit Summer over the head with the blood diamonds and toss her body off the pier. And if he happens to take out Theresa at the same time and do a two for one so be it.

Maybe she'll die in whatever "event" they're writing for August. That's how Madison exited. LOL. :drunk:
Summer seems a more likely victim of that pattern, tbh. Actually I can see that. Something will happen and she will completely lose it, she will endanger lives and be killed by somebody in self defense.

I was confused, so I typed this up:
Monday
Eduardo is rushed into emergency surgery JJ comforts Gabi over shocking news Shawn has a run-in with Belle A guilt-ridden Joey makes an ultimate decision. John unlocks the mystery of his past
Tuesday
Lucas and Adrienne discuss their future Chad and JJ lie to Abigail Summer interrupts an important moment between Theresa and Brady. Maggie becomes suspicious of Summer.
Wednesday
Things heat up between Kate and Deimos Rafe, Steve, Marlena, and Hope work with Eduardo to find out John’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, John tries to break free of his chains. Brady attempts to resume the special moment with a distracted Theresa.
Thursday
Chad and Abigail honeymoon with Thomas in Chicago Shawn and Lani get closer. Deimos pays Maggie a visit. Brady runs into Summer, who is desperate for help. Claire and Belle work to try and resolve the tension between them about Shawn and Philip.
Friday
Imprisoned with John, Paul is bewildered. Meanwhile, Steve, Rafe and Marlena plot their rescue of John. Joey, still filled with guilt, makes an impulsive confession. Ciara, determined to forget what Chase did to her, throws a blow-out birthday party. Dario learns the truth about what happened to his father.
You missed the second Tuesday item from Serial Scoop: Tuesday: Jennifer and Eric continue their downward spiral.
You missed the second Wednesday item from Soaps.sheknows Wednesday: Dario shows up at Summer's door.
Lysie said there were three extra spoilers this week (making 23 total). And that there are 5 spoilers (instead of the usual 4) on three of the dates.
And a big thank you for typing it up. It does get confusing, and it is easy to miss pieces. Thank you again.

I wish they'd had Marlena/Ari kidnapped from the wedding. That would have made sense. I was sort of wondering if that was what was going to happen when I first heard about this.

That would have made sense. I was sort of wondering if that was what was going to happen when I first heard about this. It would have been an interesting contrast to the Ben threat too. So worried about Ben, that they miss it.

Interesting they did the same thing at the last wedding (Hope and Aiden) too when Ben kidnapped Abby. A wedding and a kidnapping at the same time.

The spoilers sound good.
I'm very convinced now that Summer is a fraud. I think that may be the change Josh made to the original story, which is why he likely let all this nonsense play out in the first place so he can set the stage for her to go nuts.
I like EM but, to me, Brady has to go. Throw Theresa back in JJ's orbit where she belongs, make her a bad girl again, and rest Brady for a few years. It's the same merry go round with him. He needs a break unless they play to utilize him in a more interesting, well rounded way. They pretty much ignore all of his connections outside the Kiriakis family, which is beyond absurd, and the amount of times he gets treated like a dumbass by the woman in his life makes him nothing but a slightly edgier (because of his addict past) Austin Reed. Do something worthwhile or get rid of him. Enough is enough.

And Theresa is ruining him for me. I don't get what he sees in her. Can they split them up? They could try her with Philip and give Brady a story that doesn't include proposing every year for a change.

I wouldn't be exactly opposed to Lucas/Gabi per say, but it is a little disconcerting considering the fact that Gabi is his dead son's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his grandchild. It's not to say that Days hasn't done some pretty outlandish things, but I just don't know how I would feel about something like that before I actually saw it on screen. If they have legitimate chemistry, I suppose I would be okay with it, but as of now, the idea just kind of scares me a little TBH.
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally all for BD and CB having a nice chunk of screen time, but I don't quite know if I want it in that way.

I honestly would be happy if they shipped her character off to Siberia, never to be seen or heard from again. She's a watered down version of Sami that never had to pay for any of her crimes, which actually makes her worse in some ways than Sami ever was (because, at least, Sami got caught).
