First picture she had just lied to him about having a broken leg and the second one was either when Theresa was disagreeing with him or when she said Nicole had a history of being obsessed with him. Lol
I never forward the show, so I know what the scenes were about :) , however I still think the pairing is very mis-matched - they don't look as equals in a conflict situation (1st picture) and he shows non-verbal signs of annoyance (and disrespect) in a relatively neutral situation (2 nd picture). These aren't the only moments I've noticed the inconsistency, I just used them as examples.

I like to remember the day she looked even more like Sofia the First than she usually does. It's like they heard my joke, and then gave her Sofia's dress.

Right! I'm just saying they were having conflict in both the scenes of the pics you posted. Anyway I guess we all like what we like

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
We could have gotten Bricole (who have great chemistry) , we could have gotten Kristen (who is fun to watch)....instead we have Summer.
I don't think Nicole would have been better in this context (and Kristen would have been irrelevant). Right now bricole would be her treating Brady like he's Daniel. The Summer story is terrible so far but it might actually be better than a bricole redo at this particular point.
(f we were going to have a redo of Bricole it would need to have been Brady helping her through her grief and her trying to resist.

I do wonder if Dena had Bricole mapped out at this moment because of the Dan heart thing....but then someone interfered?
Well thank Jonas for that because that would have been awful.

Brady ruins Brady for me. He doesn't need any help. The character just sucks on so many levels.

And unfortunately because of Tater I think we're stuck with Brady and Theresa. I think the show sees them as star crossed and destined
Because that's how a destined couple looks like when communicating ;) :

this looks like his..."you have nothing to worry about" lean does he do that often...like we haven't heard that :whistling:  I mean song and dance...I do realize that emoticon is whistling. I will admit these two fight like two bear cats, I don't mind that. I mean and not comparing Thrady to other couples, but we've seen Jack/Jen fight, Kayla/Steve fight.

When is Chloe returning? EM and NB had good chemistry. I wouldn't mind a Broe redux.

...currently. Steve was a cop for a brief spell, was he not?

I don't really have a problem with Rafe being there since Ari, his niece, is involved. Better than him being attached to Hope.

I actually enjoy Rafe in cop mode. And I hate it when kidnappings take place and the police are never informed. So I'm glad Rafe is there.

:) True, we like what we like :) .
It's not about a couple having a conflict, though - it's more than ok to have some conflicts. My first problem (illustrated with the 1st pic) was how unequal they are - he looks like an angry teacher and she looks like a small scared child (and not only in this particular moment in the pic).
I don't see the second situation as a conflict (IMO they wanted to show that Theresa cares about Brady and doesn't want him to go to CA in that episode) and him rolling eyes at her in this situation   . But it actually doesn't matter because the actual problem (IMO) is - their non-verbal messages don't match. Her face expression is often "scare" and he nearly never reacts to it non-verbally or - what is even worse- rolls his eyes or avoids eye contact - it leaves the impression that he doesn't care what she thinks or feels.

(It's just an explanation why I think they don't work well together or as we often say don't have chemistry).

Ari is safe by then but that's true. I also like that Rafe had a good relationship with J&M back to when he got fired for helping John with the embezzzelemnt

Thrady after Tate have always reminded me of Sami/Austin circa 99-02/05-06.

When she was scheming to get Brady and living in the K Mansion I can agree that he had the "I am calling the shots attitude" He was angry at her for what she did to Mel and eventually he did soften towards her and developed feelings for her but fought it the whole way. In the second scene I think there was a conflict of him going to California and she not wanting him to and her feeling left out because of the dreams.
