Every three years when they have one lol
That's why they're well done. One of the HWs on Y&R did like 8 weddings in 6 months. It was horrible.
I don't even know if I'd consider the Days ones well done anymore though. And it's been a long time since we've had rooting couples with a wedding. I can't even remember the one before Will and Sonny

I want a good one for Chad and Abby with some nice vows, but my expectations are low. With all of the stories going on I don't know how the wedding is going to get enough time.

Bill is reminiscing about the Doug and Julie weddings.

That makes sense if the John rescue starts or almost starts next Friday

I think it sort of spins off into John being held prisoner and Eduardo being hurt

Brady/Kristen but maybe you don't count failed weddings so before that it was Nick/Gabi in the Horton living room.

I don't think either of those were supposed to be rooting couples...

Good point I missed that. I just remembered EJ and Sami in July 2014, they had a lot of fans rooting for them but it was a weird wedding since Sami was doing it as a revenge.

Oh wow then it's been even longer since we've had successful weddings between rooting couples. I mean I don't want a wedding a month but more than one every five years would be nice.

Side note- it really underlines the bad job they've done with young couples on this show. Will and Sonny and Chad and Abby were the only two who people really wanted to get married. The parade of supercouple remarriages was a different story

Well, people want different things ;) ;) ;) . Sometimes some people even like doomed (from storyline perspective) pairings LOL.
Sometimes a crashed wedding is as good or even better than a successful wedding. Especially these days when soap pairings are very unstable.

Oh don't get me wrong I enjoy crashed doomed weddings too. Lol. The John Susan one is one of my all time favorites. I mean from the context of happy couples having happy weddings. It just doesn't happen a lot

Since it's quiet---I think this is related to Doug and Julie's 1981 honeymoon in "Japan."
