Wow, I never knew Bill played the piano.
He had to wait a while to get his medical license back after he got out of prison. He played piano for Doug in the meantime.

LOL at Bill throwing shade at Dena.

But it's probably true that Susan's ad libs are better than Dena's writing.

Why can't they bring Doug's place back? Instead they give us these crappy generic clubs with thumping "music".

Wow, I never knew Bill played the piano.
Bill (Horton) played piano in the Farrah Fawcett scene in 1970. At the end of the scene it says this in the script:

Doug expertly leads the lady off to a distant table. Hold on Bill as he smiles, shakes his head. Camera moves in close as he continues to noodle on the piano, and we hear his train of thought:

BILL'S VOICE (recorded): She looks a little like Laura. Will it always be that way? Will every woman -- remind me -- of Laura?

Oh wow then it's been even longer since we've had successful weddings between rooting couples. I mean I don't want a wedding a month but more than one every five years would be nice.

Side note- it really underlines the bad job they've done with young couples on this show. Will and Sonny and Chad and Abby were the only two who people really wanted to get married. The parade of supercouple remarriages was a different story

Well, people want different things ;) ;) ;) . Sometimes some people even like doomed (from storyline perspective) pairings LOL.
Sometimes a crashed wedding is as good or even better than a successful wedding. Especially these days when soap pairings are very unstable.

So agree. I love some dramatic non-weddings. Let's not forget the Howie/Hope/Larry wedding which is one of the most memorable in Days' history.

Hours later I want to comment on this. I felt like when this tweet popped up that so many of us held our breaths and looked at each other cyberly as if to say "how do we respond to this?" It was unifying.

Looks like I have a museum piece. I have that typewriter sitting in my family room. It was the first thing my dad bought when he came to the US.

Love reading Bill's tweets. Can someone pass him another bottle please. These are making my morning.

Thanks for posting all those tweets! Ive been twitter absent lately, so I missed them. I just adore everything about Bill Hayes. I cant imagine a Days world without him. Listening to him talk about the olden days reminds me of when I used to sit with my grandpa with a cup of tea listening to him talk about his early life. Its refreshing and fun <3
