Thank you JCP.

It may be a warehouse, but it also looks like a parking garage as well. I remember seeing what looked like oil stain when they did the Hope/Dr. Malcolm location. It might not be the same place.

I completely missed what Hope said to Chase before she left him. I listened twice and still didn't catch it and what I thought I heard made no sense. I was very happy to read the recap here. Thank you Pat! I imagine that was a tricky balance for Hope confronting Chase. She needs him to admit what he did and not put Ciara thru the hell of a trial. Maybe once the confession is properly filed she can unleash more emotion, but I did like her stance of the two women being made of strong stuff and the Jenning men would not break them.
What I actually really liked about anything to do with Ciara/Chase/Hope/Rape story-line, at least on Friday, is this exchange:

"Who knows, I mean it might make up for what I did and what my dad did [Hope looks away from him; cue him catching what he said and seeming to understand taking back anything he or his father did to them was not possible] A little bit anyways."

"You and Aidan hurt us. No doubt. But you didn't ruin us. You can't. [Then she takes out the next line as if she was tying to convince herself] Ciara and I are too strong for that."

I would have flipped things on Friday and gone with just one Justin/Hope scene and 2-3 Chase/Hope scenes (sort of like how I would have traded the hospital description scene for the actual hospital scene on Thursday). The pathos in those Ch/H scene had potential. It was almost as if they were talking to themselves rather than each other at points. Prior to or following confession, I was a fan of that tone choice. I hope we get a more extended conversation with them after he pleads guilty (IF he does).

The whole wedding itself was underwhelming. The guests, the decor, the dark tone in that dreary house. Abby looked on the verge of tears, Jen was high ,her brother was missing, no maid of honour , no friends. It sure wasn't the happy, glamorous events of the past.
When Will and Sonny got married, we had three full days of wedding preparations and ceremony/reception on the third day. With plenty of cast in attendance. Of course we had to endure Jennifer and Nicole with crazy Liam at the cabin mixed in, and EJ with the wacky guru trying to get Marlena' s license to perform the wedding ceremony, but for the most part it was all about the wedding of WilSon. The Chabby wedding is so sad in comparison what with only a handful of guests and no maid of honor (at least Theo could be his Uncle Chad' s best man (as he should be - he is at least part of the family unlike Rafe). And then we have crazy Ben on the loose to terrorize the happy couple. Ugh.
Ben in the window was actually the highlight of the wedding.

I forgot, I wanted to mention... didn't really have a problem with Hope in general yesterday, but I was a little surprised that the Chase actor seemed to do a stronger job of bringing forward their relationship as step-mother/step-son. That was the most interesting thing about those scenes for me.

Also for those trying to make sense out of S&K's marital status, the birth certificate was back to "Kayla Brady."

Finally able to watch it was sex on toast when Eddie took the bullet for Rafe. Isn't this the Basic Black warehouse?

All the Ciara/Chase stuff those past 2 days was awful, like I expected. Glad Josh is gone.
Really? I thought it went decently. Ignoring the acting, Ciara was able to tell Chase what she needed to, she told Hope. Hope was able to tell Ciara that it wasn't her fault... they made a point in telling the audience that Ciara got tested, even flat out mentioned HIV and pregnancy.
I liked the acting. I've only been disappointed in how they've written Hope.
Me too. KA didn't do anything for me in Thursday's episode or yesterday's. Hope seems very unaffected by all of this. I also didn't like that immediately after Ciara told her Chase had raped her, she turned to him and said "Is this true?" It just sounded wrong. I can only imagine how Bo's response to all of this.

I remember watching Marlena's response to hearing that Sami was raped by Alan and all she wanted to do was hug her.

So, is Yo Ling and his torture warehouse spot in the same warehouse that the shoot out happened? If so shouldn't the SPD be able to find them pretty easily? If not, wow there sure are lots of empty warehouses in Salem.

I hope Marlena gets to rip off Rafe's face and kick it around a little on Monday. She so trusted John to handle the situation...to the point that she wasn't even really concerned at the hospital.
Yep. Not until she saw that cop.

But she really did think John had it under control. Wait until Rafe tells her he lost John
Rafe was applying pressure to Eduardo's wound the entire time so he didn't bleed out. I'd think the other cops present would know how to secure a scene and see to drugged out John. I can't blame Rafe for losing John at all. Actually if he hadn't shown up both men would now be tied up in that creepy room having who knows what tortures inflicted on them. John handling the situation was to do the heroic thing and trade himself. Rafe was trying his best to save both men and the hostages.

We don't actually know what John and Eduardo's plan was. What we know is that the shoot out was caused by the Salem PD showing up, and the shoot out is what led to Eduardo getting shot and John being taken.

Agreed. And the point of my original comment was about Marlena being upset with Rafe for losing John. She left thinking John had everything under control and right or wrong, she's likely going to be totally upset with Rafe when he tells her they showed up and now John's missing

I'm in total Ericole withdrawal mode at the moment so a little grumpy. ( think of me as grumpy cat - or EJ)

I hate that this wedding is happening in the dimera mansion - it just looks wrong having Julie, Jen and Adrienne prancing around there.

I also hate Abby's white pre wedding suit - new mums and white suits really shouldn't mix... thank god she's marrying into staff now.

John looks really good today ( obviously more meaty material is good for DH's complexion).

I really don't feel like we needed to have these two stories on the same day.... particularly after all those days where nothing good was happening.

OK I may need to give it more time BUT seriously Rafe is there for every one of Hope;s sniffles and he's left Gabi alone.

Someone needs to take that Hat away from Eduardo - he looks like a man who is desperately trying to cling to his youth way too hard.

Is there any chance of Shawn D turning up in this episode?

I wish this Theo Ciara conversation was happening somewhere other than the middle of Horton Town Square.... even an abandoned warehouse would be better.
