Love that A Martinez is so engaging on Twitter. He's responding to a few of my tweets. And he's so a team player and so supportive of his cast members. You can really tell he loves being apart of Days. I'm glad his character has seemed to stick and has gained popularity! Inserting him into the John story was so smart! I've always been a fan of his.

[twitter=ericmartsolf/status/709575273700663296] DAYS deserves as many technical, directing and production Emmys for this work...very impressive for a show on a shoestring budget.

Here is a podcast of Bryan Dattilo and Vincent Irizarry
Thanks for recapping!
Nothing about Lucas getting more airtime soon, this is really bad. I hope Higley/Quan will want to write for him or he will stay on the backburner all year.
"Vincent thinks that once the one-month hiatus is over, he has heard that they are going to change the production schedule in some way."
Please!!! We are stuck with characters/stories that the viewers don't like for more that 6 months with the current production schedule, it's hurting the show! I hope they change that.

I think the production schedule is kind of a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation. On the whole, it seems like the current production schedule, with its cost-saving measures, is one of the few reasons the show has been able to stay on the air at all the last six-seven years. But then, as you say, there's the inability to really tweak or end stories based on fan reaction. Overall, I think they might tighten the tape to air schedule a bit, but I don't think they'll ever be less than four or five months ahead.

Since there isn't much going on this week with SM, I thought I'd mention that it sounds as though Dena has not called up Tamara for another stint...yet. TB was essentially putting out feelers to the GH EP yesterday on Twitter.
Not saying that TB was going to come back anyway, but with Dena around, you never know.

[twitter=jen_lilley/status/709556355120517121]   Seriously - Thrady is literally the worst thing to ever happen to Brady as a character. She turned him into trash. Get em both gone, Days. Does she ever get tired of pimping Thrady probably not considering their not that popular.

I'd be happy as pie if she continued working on "other projects" forever. Don't like her or her character.
Co sign. And I never will. Is it me or does she come across as kind of fake.

Here is a podcast of Bryan Dattilo and Vincent Irizarry talking about various things, in anticipation of the March 19-20 fan event in Atlanta. Updated list of stars for this event: Bryan Dattilo, Judi Evans, Vincent Irizarry, Eric Martsolf, Jordi Vilasuso, Marie Wilson, Guy Wilson. Podcast was recorded Thurs March 10th. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/take2radionetwork/2016/03/11/days-2-meet-greet-ticket-give-away-wpaul-of-starstruckfans2-bryandattiloThis is a two-hour podcast. Bryan was on for the first hour. Vincent is on for the first 28 minutes, but Bryan stays on the podcast up until the first hour is done. That's as far as I listened. I don't know what the second hour of the podcast was about. The hosts tease Bryan about how he takes off his shirt at fan events. Vincent Irizzary called in so that they could announce that he'll be there. Vincent says this is first public appearance with Judi Evans since the days of Lujack and Beth on Guiding Light. Bryan and Vincent talk about the tape-to-air gap and keeping spoilers secret. Vincent thinks that once the one-month hiatus is over, he has heard that they are going to change the production schedule in some way. One of the hosts said she wants to learn more about Deimos. Vincent says he's been taping 7-and-a-half months, so he's really into his character ... but yet only 6 weeks of Deimos have aired which means that the viewers haven't seen much yet. Vincent mentioned the type of songs he'd like do for the karaoke at the fan event. Some chatter about Bryan and Vincent singing and rapping for a soapstars CD from many (15?) years ago. Someone comments how Vincent replies to everyone who tweets at him, and he says he likes to respond in appreciation. Vincent talks about how the rebooted AMC was such a hit on Hulu. Vincent says he knows what he has taped as Deimos and he says it's going to be a very exciting ride. After Vincent hangs up the phone, Bryan stays on. Bryan does a Q and A. Someone asked about his favorite times on Days. One thing he mentioned was when Lucas learned he was Will's father -- and young Lucas' being a dad to little Will, and the custody battle, and making a new connection with Sami. They asked him about Will's death. Bryan made vague comments about soaps and how things come full circle. More re: Will's death: Bryan says it was a good opportunity for Bryan as an actor to portray a parent who has lost a child, because that's a very difficult thing. And that it's part of life that sometimes people die young unexpectedly. He also wanted to honor parents who have lost children. Someone asked him about fan reaction to Bryan (in general) at fan events through the years. He said that, many years ago, a fan had downloaded a copy of Bryan's signature off the internet, and then she(the fan) brought the signature to a tattoo parlour and got Bry's signature tattooed onto her ankle. She showed her ankle to Bryan at an event. He says he took photos. He thinks the photos aren't posted online because this was many years ago before twitter, and probably before facebook. Bryan also said that a fan once bought Bryan's used chewing gum. He signed the paper and put it back in the wrapper for the fan, etc. Someone asked Bryan if he does his own tweets, and he said he does. Someone asked Bryan about working with Judi Evans. Bryan says that he says that he has met Judi's husband and he's great guy; and that Bryan's wife has met Judi and they like each other ... and as a result, this makes Bryan and Judi very comfortable with each other. He says Judi and he have a similar sense of humor. He it's interesting to shift gears and do the more serious drama with Judi on screen, which is in contrast to how they are in real life. Someone asked if Bryan and Judi clown around or play pranks on one another on the set. In reply Bryan says that sometimes Judi does something while he's trying to seriously work on a scene. (not quite sure what he said there). He says that he and Judi have a similar dynamic to what he had with Ali --but Ali didn't do the prank that Judi does. The hosts mentioned that the Atlanta fan event will include the Days stars and the attendees going on a tour together of several places in Atlanta where various TV shows and movies have been filmed, including a tour where Walking Dead has been filmed. Bryan said he was happy to learn this because his teenaged son is a fan of Walking Dead. Then they did a call-in or tweet-in trivia quiz to give away tickets to the Atlanta event. The trivia quiz question: What big concert did Lucas, Sami, Carrie, and Austin all attend? Bryan says he remembers this and he went on about how amazing it was. (answer: Rolling Stones concert). The person who won the trivia contest called in. The winner apparently writes fanfic about Lucas Horton, and told Bryan about one of his storyline ideas, and Bryan thanked him. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/take2radionetwork/2016/03/11/days-2-meet-greet-ticket-give-away-wpaul-of-starstruckfans2-bryandattilo Unfortunately, almost all of Judi/Bryan's scenes got cut :'( .

Does she ever get tired of pimping Thrady probably not considering they're not that popular. Most actors vocally support their on-screen pairing.
KM just made a Spotify playlist for Chabby's wedding and wrote Abby's vows.

She isn't fake she and I are from the same hometown and she is very nice. What does where you come from have to do with if you are fake or not? You can be very nice and she can be fake..and it has nothing to do with where you are from.
I don't particularly like Jen at all, but mainly because of her past interviews with DR and other outlets that turned me off to who she is as a person.

She isn't fake she and I are from the same hometown and she is very nice. The two things are mutually exclusive. She may be the most genuine human on the planet. She comes across as fake regardless.
