In this week's SOD, Maggie finally tells Victor the truth about Summer and he's not happy. He thinks that Summer is a con artist and doesn't trust her at all.

In the meantime, Dario meets with Summer and encourages her to take advantage of Maggie. As we can tell, Dario and Summer have a history. Summer doesn't want to be the same person that she was in California. She wants a new start in Salem.

Maggie and Summer talk about why Maggie gave her up for adoption. She hopes that she'll understand what was happening at that time in her life. Summer is compassionate toward Maggie and wants to build a relationship built on trust and she begins to tell Maggie about her life.

Pick up SOD for more info!

This is the first storyline in awhile that I actually skip.

They could have brought in Summer as an entirely new character. We actually need those... not ones that are related to a big family.

I read it and apparently Maggie tells Victor she was 17 when she gave birth to Summer.

I just can't with that.

Why are they ruining Maggie and Mickey's history? They have actual children that we know and could care about if there were on the canvas rather than making up stupid new ones!!

Goodness, seriously, Days. Stop with those Maggie's rotten eggs. Nobody's fucking interested in those.

The only plus about this is I don't see Brady involved.

With the way things are going, Brady also looks like he also came from Maggie's eggs. :blulaugh:

I didn't think Griffith would create something that could rival the elephant story line in terms of atrociousness. Clearly I was wrong.

I just don't understand the thought process. Why would anyone think it was a good idea to create another fake child for Maggie? Probably the same person(s) who thought it was clever to give Victor a brother who is 30 years younger (but still a romantic rival).

If they really wanted to make Scammer Maggie's daughter she should have been
Daniel's twin.
What a waste of air time !

This storyline was dead before it started. She should have.been Melissa or Sarah. This whole thing is pointless.

I don't dislike the chick who is playing Summer but the story is a big, fat "WHY?"

I still can't believe Victor put his brother in jail for 30 years for stealing his girlfriend, too. I forgot that this is the background story for a NY minute.

Be careful... Or we might just see a "flashback" of Isabella visiting a nondescript clinic, desperate to give John a child so he won't reunite with Marlena, circa 1991.

Actually, that might be a better storyline than this horrid one.

I love love love Maggie. And have for 30+ years. This is just so stupid and nonsensical. I can understand why they don't want Melissa and Sarah on-screen. I would have actually preferred Summer as an actual egg-baby. The timing is way off, but I could live with a few years of Maggie "finding her lost offspring" from her involvement in the earliest days of in-vitro. Especially since Victor orchestrated the stealing of "Daniel". Those eggs could be all over the world and finding "new" family would cause a nice rift in her marriage.

Sorry, but its 50 years since Maggie was a teen......in SORAS, that's close to a century.

Summer just looks young for her age?

Have we all come to the conclusion that Summer is running a scam (probably with Deimos help) and it's actually AK's character who will turn out to be the real spawn of Maggie?

No way is there 17 years difference between Maggie and Summer. I could see it more with Daniel than Summer. I could believe Maggie could have gotten pregnant with Daniel at 17 since he was 50 when he died. But Summer is a lot younger than Daniel.

This whole story is just a NO... We traded Daniel, for a brand new Maggie kid that makes no sense.
