Isn't Summer supposed to be around 30-35 years old? If Maggie had her at 17, are they trying to say that Maggie is at most 52 years old? Maggie was in her twenties when we first met her back in the 1970s.

This is so, so, so bad.

Days has completely uprooted Maggie's entire history with this one. Not to mention the numbers don't make an ounce of sense. I don't care if it's Griffith or Milstein or Higley or Dr. Suess who is responsible for this, but this is a grudge I will hold for probably the remainder of time that Days is on. Just idiotic!

The only plus about this is I don't see Brady involved.
Shhh, Brady Kiriakis will be involved with it, in some way. You know, that is his family now...

In this week's Copyright Violation/Post will be removed, Maggie finally tells Victor the truth about Summer and he's not happy. He thinks that Summer is a con artist and doesn't trust her at all.

In the meantime, Dario meets with Summer and encourages her to take advantage of Maggie. As we can tell, Dario and Summer have a history. Summer doesn't want to be the same person that she was in California. She wants a new start in Salem.

Maggie and Summer talk about why Maggie gave her up for adoption. She hopes that she'll understand what was happening at that time in her life. Summer is compassionate toward Maggie and wants to build a relationship built on trust and she begins to tell Maggie about her life.

Pick up Copyright Violation/Post will be removed for more info!

I am going to like this story! Going to be rooting for Maggie and Summer. I wonder if I already said that in here. This board is confusing to me unlike SOC board....

I have said it a million times I detest Summer and I think she is a scammer. This story line sucks, the time frame sucks, and well it just plain sucks. That is all.

This story sucks and I have no interest in it whatsoever. At this point in time I don't think we need a redo story of Maggie's long lost children. Maggie should be just used as a supporting character.

I just hope that Nicole is kept out of this mess.

This storyline is so dumb.

I totally agree.

This is the sort of s/l that makes me drop a soap.I don't mind soarasing,de-soarasing,age jumping if the story is worth it,but this is not.

If it is a scam(which at this point I haven't seen evidence of that being the case),someone else would have had to known that Maggie was raped.

And,Brady is involved because he brought Summer to Salem, and if Summer stole Theresa's ring, they are setting up another Theresa jealousy story.

I have watched, skimmed through, been bored with so many story lines from tptb, but this one might be the end for me.After all the supposed hoopla for Days 50th,then to trash Mickey and Maggie's history and love story for this is idiotic just as you say.

Did Suzanne Rogers question the idiocy of this storyline?
Where were Greg Meng and Albert Alarr?
Was Ken Corday out fishing or golfing?

I'm a 32 year fan of DAYS, but I cared enough to learn as much as I could about the 18 years I missed before becoming a fan.

It's not a job to be a fan, but it sometimes feels like a chore when TPTB don't do the research or know the history and purposely trample all over it!

Unfortunately (or fortunately lol?), fans know the history of the show better and care about it more than any writer or producer.

After all her years spent doing absolutely nothing, rightly or wrongly, she's probably grateful for any little morsel of a story. It's too bad her stories since she's been revitalized have all been utter crap. I'm just going to pretend nothing happened on this show prior to 2003. I think I've actually said that before, making me redundant as a former watcher. Back to my box.

She also hasn't come across as much of a Mickey/Maggie fan in the last several years. She's been pretty outspoken about how it held her back. Personally, I don't think that's true, but whatevs.

So this seems like a whole Daniel redux, only with a female egg child instead...

If they were going to do the whole storyline over again, why in the heck did they get rid of Daniel? At least when they did Daniel's, it had some sort of logical basis. I don't believe for one second that Summer is 17 years younger than Maggie. I've been super up and down with Maggie the last few years, but destroying her storied history on the show isn't something that I'm interested in seeing.

I still don't understand how her being half of the Mickey/Maggie pairing held her back. Would love to see her logic behind that...

She's not an egg child. That would actually make it better. She's a child Maggie gave birth to and then gave up for adoption before meeting Mickey.

I didn't mean Summer was an egg child. Sorry if that wasn't clear. I was more alluding to the fact that it's another long lost child storyline, similar to Daniel, only she was given away via adoption instead.

This is utter ridiculousness. The whole point of her involvement in the surrogacy program was to experience childbirth. Why...if she'd given birth before? I wonder how many more of these kids are out there. So unbelievably stupid and disappointing!!
