Steve and Kayla are getting more and more worried about Joey's guilt over killing Ava and they are fearful that he's going to tell someone. They were right....Joey goes to his Uncle Roman and confesses and Steve and Kayla are too late to stop him. Steve continues to take the blame and Kayla tells Roman the same thing too because they want to protect Joey. Both want to protect Joey at all costs. Roman chooses to overlook this admission which relieves Kayla and Steve. Their top priority is helping Joey. They become closer and Kayla asks Steve to move back home. Steve is trying to act like things are great when he knows they aren't. They talk about the possibility of taking Joey and going on the run because they fear that Joey will tell someone who will take this confession seriously and do something about it. Steve knows that when they were on the run that there was some sweet times together but now Kayla would be helping a fugitive. What to do, what to do..... Pick up SOD for more! |

What's most stupid about this stupid story is that is the *second* murder in the matter of weeks that Roman has had an actually confession by the killer yet both times he looked the other way. But didn't Roman take Rafe's badge away when he did the same with Gabi? |

I'm so curious what Roman will really believe. I don't know how he can let Justin throw the book at Steve if he has another confession. |

I think Roman will actually believe Joey, and Steve and Kayla convince him to look the other way while Steve takes the blame. Roman knows Joey's blood was on the pillow, and he knows (or at least he should know) that Steve has a history of falling on his sword for his family. Roman should feel very conflicted about all this, and I hope they show that, but I'm not holding my breath. |

I think Roman will think I would do the same thing if it were my son...which when it comes to being a Brady and this being his family is  when it comes to being a cop is  |

This is what bothers me. If they let Steve continue to take the fall over this I'm going to be totally ticked. I know this is how Steve is and that he's done it before but I don't like the way that he and Kayla are handling this at all. The lesson they're teaching their son is ridiculous. They should be standing behind him as he goes through the legal process and helping him to deal with whatever the consequences would be but them covering for Joey is just teaching him that anything bad he does can be swept under the rug. I'm still hoping that there will be some twist that will get both Steve and Joey out of this mess. I just don't want Ava to turn up alive again. We've had enough of her in Salem. |
